Yes I lost too much weight recently and I looked like hell tbh. And yes definitely a 'dry' look especially if you are 'older'.

I got into cake baking as an enjoyable cure. Fat is good! !

The sad thing is that we have all been brainwashed into 'thin is good'. Yes it was fun to wear size 10 (uk not us) and have a good silhouette but if your face looks like ****. ....it's never gonna be a good look.

To be honest I find that most 'Roman Catholics' simply use their religion as a smorgasbord of virtue signalling. Yet don't actually live their lives as true RCS.

Hmmm Polish foods I would miss....I used to go into our excellent Polish shop at the bus station just to get their bread. .... the shop is tiny but has an incredible selection of stuff.

I used to get 'silesian style' and the shop assistant was so impressed with my slavish devotion to her shop and the fact I could say 'dziekuje' that she put my name on the list of very special people that would have a loaf put by for them...

However during lockdown I discovered how to make my own sourdough....so no more Polski Sklep for me.

I do love a good Polish shop.....

Obviously this spice is not 'forgotten in the uk'. You can buy it in every high street supermarket.

Allspice is used all the time in UK cuisine but traditionally mostly for baking cakes. Recently I have discovered the joys of a a large spoon of freshly ground allspice added to a slow cooked lamb

You can buy whole allspice in just about every tesco and sainsbury in the UK. I buy it for baking cakes and fir lamb shanks.

You can buy allspice in most normal supermarkets in the herbs and spices section. Eg Tesco , Sainsbury etc. Can't imagine why you haven't seen it tbh.
