News / Mass immigration to Poland - article and response [479]

Not a coincidence.

Anyway didn't Germany have problems with another religion in the past? Jews I think? I thought I heard something about that somewhere...

Your remarks are not very helpful, folks, and almost as narrow-minded as BrutalButchers' ones. That guy is just living in Germany, but he's most likely not a German (maybe a Spaniard?):

USA, Canada / Do many Polish people in America hate Americans? [592]

I know a lot Poles who hate Americans!!! But never as much as GERMANS

Hate? In what century are you living?

Americans have the best universities in the world statistically

Just too difficult and expensive to get into.

Love / How to please Polish women? [216]

Unique, singular and without scruples when it comes to getting her way and making sure you don't get yours....and to be honest I love it.

You must be a masochist if you enjoy being under the thumb of your lady. Which reminds me of a conversation between a masochist and a sadist:

Masochist: "Torture me"
Sadist: "No"
Masochist: "Thank you"

:)

Very true, but there are still some folks out there (as seen on PF recently...) who would say that it is the god given right of the corporations to exploit their employees like slaves. The free market solves all our problems, or not? ;)

Life / Polish stereotypes of other nationalities!? [472]

so in 2 - 3 decades we wont have any gerrie minority

Looking at the demographics, Poland might not have any Poles either in three decades.

Now with globalism, the middle class is under attack

It's all in the name of shareholder value, and the only ones really benefitting from globalism are the big corporations. We will never get those cozy 1950's back and minimum wage jobs will probably be the norm for many in the future.

I hope there is a way. You can produce as much as you want; if you don't have consumers who have enough money in their pockets to buy your products, you're going down the drain anyway. With unemployment rising to new heights people are not willing to spend, I'm afraid.

History / Polish hatred towards Jews... [1290]

Her breasts didn't fall off

Is that supposed to happen after "Jewish Kissing" (thinking of French kissing)? Poor girls.

Genealogy / GITLER... is it Polish surname? [30]

Germans when did records of polish people changed the names cause they didnt how to write it down properly.

Sorry, but that's nonsense. Until 1874 there were no official rules on how to spell your surname or given name in Prussia. Pastors/ priests wrote names usually as they were spoken; thus the variations. Besides: you will find as many Polonized German names in the churchbooks as you'll come across Germanized Polish names.

History / Weapons of WWII (Poland and other countries) [239]

have been marched off to the edge of a mass grave and shot the moment the war was over

Well, the Russians, Poles and Czechs came pretty close in doing just that at the end and right after the war, didn't they?

History / Weapons of WWII (Poland and other countries) [239]

I daresay killing German civilians during WW2 was justified given that they supported concentration camps and all that

They couldn't "support" concentration camps simply because most Germans weren't even aware of them. Not so sure about the "all that" though...

History / Polish Atlantis (pre-war Warsaw, Poland in pictures). [38]

Sokrates

Nice photos, thanks for posting. Do you happen to have images of small towns and villages in the countryside from the pre-war era as well, or do you know a good source by any chance? I'm especially interested in the greater Poznan area.

News / I suggest a new location on the map for Poland! [44]

Besides you call that part of territory German land even though it’s in Poland now and still give me this BS quoted above.

C'mon. You were the one who stated that "the western borders finally moved to where they were long time ago", implying that despite the outcome of WW2 Poland had a right to that territory anyway. How far back into the past are you willing to go to back up your claims that some land is Polish?

How boring. I suggest that we'll move the border to the west coast of the Kamchatka peninsula. Perfect spot - no nasty neighbours to the west or east, just water... ;)

No problem, although WHOIS as well as TraceRoute information is publicly available and not considered personal.

Nah, no German Poles on this forum?

They are sleeping already.

BTW: did you notice that the whois information has been deleted? It's not even in Off Topic... ;-)

Anything that could be considered personal information is likely to be deleted unless it is posted by the person themselves or they have given permission for it to be posted. Thanks.

Polonia / What about the Poles living in Germany? [65]

Maybe it's because the forum is hosted in an English speaking country?

That's not an argument IMHO, as almost everybody in Germany speaks English as you know.

Polonia / What about the Poles living in Germany? [65]

I was always wondering why there is no "Polonia - Germany" under the Poland Abroad section, given the fact that it is the second largest Polonia in the world. Some inconvenient truth?
