Thanks, lol...we moved here for my job.
We had lived near Houston, which has a Slavic/Polish Village (parish, festivals, restaurants)...but we haven't found anything here near Tuscaloosa, AL USA. : (
We are originally from the Northeast, and are just used to Polish culture and festivals year-round.

I would doubt it (i think historically Poles ended up much further north, they seemed to avoid the south).

My family has just moved to Alabama, and we were wondering if there are any Polish communities/festivals in our area?
I know there are a lot of Germans around, due to the Mercedes-Benz plant nearby...but not sure about Poles.

I have traveled a lot, but only within the USA, and I am planning on traveling to Poland and wanted a comparison between some cities.

I found one hosted by St. Stanislaus in Fall River, MA....but it has already passed : (

I am from Rhode Island, USA and used to go to a Polish Church (St. Casimir's) that had 3 polish festivals per year, with great homemade Polish food, Polish music (Mike's Polka Kings), dancing, and lots of fun. Unfortunately, the church was closed and I have been missing the company of Polish food and friends. Does anyone know of any Polish Festivals in Southern New England coming up over the summer months? Thanks!
