Yeah a hell of a lot die of deprivation or the elements trying it too. There is no welcoming tuba band and party for Mexicans, sorry. You want to risk that for a holiday visa? If you're so dead set on it try it through Canada, should you get caught you might be denied access for life.

Before you vilify US immigration people if you stay and do not return (which obviously happens) they could lose their jobs. This isn't the EU and having no job in the US often means you don't eat.

You take it too personally, man. It's nothing against Poles. Look at Zbigniew Brzezinski.. you think he's been discriminated against? No, he's a Pole immigrant and has sat on our National Security Councils. Republican and Democrat.

Given a choice I'd take Poles too. At least Polish kids don't start gangs if they don't get into college. Be nice to have a lot more Polish restaurants too.

That used to be true but it's not so much as it was. Things are tightening fast with the ascension of China. Real wages are down and you'll typically need some kind of higher education to get a decent job.

There is the problem: You are letting other people dictate to you what the good life is. People always have more / less. Worrying about what you don't have all the time is ridiculous.. and it sadly permeates American culture. I love the US always will but not that aspect of it.
