News / Should government monitor the net in Poland? [38]

The news says that they will delete hateful comments not put authors into jails

Right. Today they will remove 'hateful comments'; tomorrow they will remove comments supporting political Party X or presidential candidate Y. And the day after tomorrow they will remove comments exposing negative effects of Drug_Z (after a lobbyist of the Drug_Z company paid enough money to the 'censorship organization').

Corruption and manipulation possibilities of 'monitoring' are ENDLESS.

Life / Is the word "Polack"rascist? [185]

According to Google, the word "Polack" is not offensive. But the word "Jew" is extremely offensive. Go figure.

USA, Canada / What do Poles think about drinking raw milk? In America, unpasteurized milk is PROHIBITED. [49]

I can tell I've been drinking raw milk in Poland since day one and I'm still alive. All my friends did too.

But in the USA "the government" claims raw milk can poison you or kill you. They have prohibited drinking raw milk and want to prison farmers for selling such milk. I mean, really? In the country of freedom you are banned from drinking what you feel like drinking, like milk...? I'd say Poles are a living proof drinking unpasteurized milk is as healthy as it can be. Any comments?

A yearlong sting operation, including aliases, a 5 a.m. surprise inspection and surreptitious purchases from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania, culminated in the federal government announcing this week that it has gone to court to stop Rainbow Acres Farm from selling its contraband to willing customers in the Washington area.

The product in question: unpasteurized milk.

It is the FDA's position that raw milk should never be consumed.

Travel / Watch out for airport personnel stealing stuff on regional Polish airports. [64]

There have been reports (and I can tell it from my own experience on the Wroclaw airport) that personnel on most Polish airports regularly steal stuff from traveler's suitcases. Travelers taking a flight from Poland to other continents (like America, Africa, or Australia) are most vulnerable to the fraud.

They target electronic equipment, computer parts, video cameras, laptops, etc. They just open suitcases and take what they want. They know the traveler is much less likely to get help / complain from another continent. When they stole my new hard disk and an old video camera, I learned my lesson. But it happened again to TWO of my friends who also took a flight from the Wroclaw airport, through Warsaw, and to the US. I also heard similar stories about travelers going from the Krakow airport to Australia.

Who is responsible for that? Who hires/pays the personnel to work on the airport? I guess they are hired/paid by the airport. Or maybe they are government workers?

News / Controlling the internet ACTA in Poland (Like SOPA) [34]

I think what will happen is this, they will start in with this anti-copy right censorship

That's almost exactly what's going to happen, with one small detail - the governments will be the ones to hire hackers (for our tax payers money) to do the job.

But i dont see the connection between cyber attacks and hightening security affecting freedom of the internet.

You're right that the genuine hackers will never want to censor the Internet. I meant the so called 'contractors' that would do anything for a quick buck, including helping the beast to enslave the human kind.

Poland (and Polish language) - the bastion of freedom again? Check out the picture in this article on a very popular website promoting liberty:

3. Has a valid Polish passport.

Travel / Just visited Poland - here is my random rant [154]

It seems half of the power of Polish police and 'city cops' are directed at trying to fine drivers over speeding.

It's time to move to Ohio ;)

USA, Canada / Would you live in California, USA? [240]

Definitely not. Liberal state, waaay too much taxes and regulations, too much Mexican gangs influence. Plus a big earthquake is coming. People from CA are moving to FL (much nicer beaches and safer, especially in the bay area).

Ehhhhh I doubt that, Florida is WAY WAY too hot.

Not in places like Sarasota. Yes, many parts (like Orlando) are hot, but not the bay area (especially in the 10 mile radius from the ocean).

USA, Canada / Why indian origin woman as Miss America and never Polish origin? [37]

What's wrong with having a woman of Indian descent as Miss America?

Nothing. It's just meaningless who wins because whoever wins is decided in advance by the current political or social needs as determined by the 'highest priests' of this world.

For example, it was not a coincidence that the Polish woman, Aneta Kreglicka, was announced Miss World in 1989. It was a political decision, nothing else. In 1989 / 90 Poland and Europe started the new era. To celebrate it, Poland was awarded the prize.

In other words, all these contests for the masses are just that - reality shows that have the winner before the 'official' or 'public' voting. There's nothing exciting about them at all if you realize you are being duped ;)

It's about 'no to racism, political correctness, and globalization' at this time (and in the years to come, probably). I won't be surprised in a few years a drag queen or a 'third gender' will win the prize.

I didn't watch the show but I'm sure there were girls with a better physical appearance (ie. when I see her body fat near the arms and breast area I assume she's not a frequent gym goer). Don't get me wrong - she is very nice, but not stunning (A. Kreglicka was not stunning either).

I just assumed someoene like Miss America would be extraordinary.

You still don't get my point. These days the words don't actually mean what they are supposed to mean and most people don't even realize that:

- Miss World is not the most beautiful woman.
- Nobel Peace Prize winner hates peace.
- Expert in finance cannot count to 100.
- A devouted believer doesn't believe in God.
- Exemplary husband or wife masturbate in public.
- Healthy eating proponent is obese.
- Raising debt ceiling is nor raising debt.
- The most popular man is in fact a woman.

Btw. I was some years off with my assumption above:

A transgender student at Marina High School in Huntington Beach made history Friday evening by becoming the school's Homecoming Queen.

USA, Canada / Why indian origin woman as Miss America and never Polish origin? [37]

And to prove my point, today's Miss World TOP 3 are:

1. The Phillipines ('Yellow' race).
2. France ('White' race).
3. Ghana ('Black' race).

Yet another coincidence? No. It was supposed to be like that before the show started. I'm just trying to tell people not to get excited about such events for the masses because what they see is a pre-manufactured news.

BY THE WAY. Someone might have think -- ok, but there's also the 'Hispanic' race? Not to worry:

4. Spain.
5. Brazil.

And I'm not 'racist' - I just don't like being fooled by the 'high priests' who try to manipulate the reality. Next year's news: TOP 3 Miss World will be: Hispanic, Yellow, White, Black (in random order).
