Life / How would you describe the Polish sense of humour? [66]

but then Polish jokes lose a lot in translation, even if it's literally the same joke in the 2 languages. to me Polish jokes written by Polish people are the funniest.

I agree entirely with this statment, with the brittish puns and the dry sense of humour, when explained to someone else they don't quite get it.

But yeah i think polish people are naturally funny, without trying

lol the Golbaki from the jar does sound nasty but to be honest
that was the 1st time i tasted it

it sure doesn't compare to the home cooked ones at all

and thanks for telling me the names of the dishes i described =]

I am too scared to eat Tartare or any kind of raw meat lol, it's probably harmless and tastes yummy but the mind is a powerful thing hehe.

1. Golabki- home made or from the jar lol
2. That chicken broth with spaghetti (forgot the name)
3. Bigos with loads of bacon and sausages mmmm
4.chicken or pork cutlett with potatoes served with that pickled cabbage salad thingy
5. Those pancakes with some kind of white cheese and jam mmmmmmm yums =]

mushroom sauce

Oo mushroom sauce?? sounds interesting, i wasn't aware there was any saunce on this...is it creamy??? when we make it at home we just cook the mushrooms in butter with loads of onions pepper and paprika..add grated cheese on top and stick it in the oven..yumssssss

but yes i'd love to try this sauce you talk about =] sounds yummy
