well, Hell's kitchen is quite a show and it has to bring some audience who apart from learning British swear words will also learn something about cooking ( I think).

He knows as much as I do - nothing about names, unless he has some links but I have never seen any;).

Yet, the foreign politics of the US has stationed your basis around the world (per your claim) and now Europe has to go down on its knees and be thankful for that.

You cannot just speak in general, since eg. US is better for new ideas/advancement while Europe is more conservative when it comes to that. Europe is more socialist then the US. US does not stay away from war conflicts, but participates in them with the propaganda machine manipulating their citizens that they are doing the right thing. US is a war monger.
Europe has had ethnic conflicts for a long time, US deals with ethnic conflict by implementing racism within their own country and outside of it, provided they have some interest in it. There is no better propaganda machine then the one in the US;)
Those are just a few things I wanted to mention.
There future division of power is shifting and China comes to mind, but I guess the Yanks are already there, aren't they, claiming that Chinese government is abusing human rights towards its citizens, while doing and building business with China.

When it comes to quality of bread in Poland in varies and if the German bread is cheaper, Poles will buy is, since it is NOT a well off society yet.

SOme ex-pats are known for complaining about such things over and over again, because they are having problems with dealing with cultural differences. For some reason they neglect to provide the balance in a from of what keeps them in Poland, therefore I think that freebird has made a generalization. I have met many foreigners in Poland and some adjust well, but some don't. One of the reason for the failed adjustment is the need to compare Poland to the country they came from. One cannot, because all countries are different and if one wants to live in Poland, there will do better if they take it for what it is, not for what they want Poland to be.
