Travel / Why does everyone seem to hate LOT Polish Airlines? [380]

I think people will always find something to complain about. I have flown to Poland about 20 times in my lifetime and I have never had a problem with LOT. In fact the service was always exceptional, the food was great (mind you I am not a picky eater) and the flight attendants were very pleasant. As someone said, a plane takes you from A to B. At least you get free alcoholic beverages and you don't have to pay for your food as many airlines are doing nowadays (charging for a meal).

I will be moving to Poland next June. I am Polish/Canadian and I have been to Poland many times. I actually just got back. I have many friends there and lots of family, a lot more than I do in Toronto. I absolutely love the country and everything having to do with it. Eventhough I was born in Canada I feel more at home in Poland. It also helps that I am fluent in Polish as well. I find life is much simpler in Europe. Warsaw is developing very rapidly and it isn't what it used to be even 5 years ago.
