Language / Is math in Polish different than in English? [59]

math is international... hell... intergalactic universal language! :D

Polish way to write this is similar... and some people would write it exactly the same as you did it.

Ok, examples:

3 * 2 = 6 (but this asterisk should be a point vertically in the middle of the digit)

6 : 3 = 2

Work / Salary expectations in Poland [373]

Me - student* - IT - full time job - Poland (big city) - 3k net (which is considered as low salary in my field).

Guy with degree, say 2-3 yrs experience in my field can make 6k net

Specialist 3-5+ yrs of experience in field, talented - 10k net.

and that's it... no more than 10-12k in my field :-) but I think I will start my own business.... I can't imagine me working full time for next ~40yrs :D

*but I was working before and have experience which most of students don't have

Life / Is it me or do any guys in Poland not have shaved heads? [113]

I can't speak for the rest of the country of course but there were a lot of skinheads in Krakow compared to, say, Plymouth.

lol and why do you think they were all skinheads? Many polish guys have short hair or have no hair ..... just because they like that 'style'.

Life / Gyms in Warsaw [44]

Quite expensive (500 PLN/month) but very nice and proffesional place.

Lol, I pay 70 PLN/month... but in one of middle sized cities in Poland ;) Average gym cost in Warsaw should be somewhere around 150 PLN/m-c...
