it is a proven fact that if there are two interview candidates with the same qualifications and one of them is overweight, the job is more likely to go to the slimmer one. I am not saying this is right, but statistically PP is right, there is positive discrimination in recruitiment towards people who are more pleasing on the eye.
This seems more prominent in some places than others. I visited my partner's brother's office in a small town in Poland and he is the only man in the organisation and employs around 10 young women, all of whom are young and attractive..especially the receptionist with her t***s hanging out... and this is a finance/tax corporation.

DO you really go to the grocery store in your pjs? Puttting the rubbish out is one thing but walking down the street in your nightclothes is just bizarre. Maybe you throw a coat on top? It seems you live in New York State, I thought women there were meant to be stylish or is that just a myth perpatrated by Sex and the City?
Anyway even good grooming doesnt neccessarily make you beautiful.. as for you guys who think all Polish women are the best thing since sliced bread.. wake up and smell the coffee.

why do you think Polish people would be bewildered by foreigners? I imagine even in the most tiny village most people would have had some contact with people from other countries.. Poland is hardly the Amazonian rain forest!

I bought some of that bottled stuff and I put about half the jar in mixed with water, but it tasted disgusting. I decided to add a bit of vegetable stock to it, which made it better, but was wondering if I should have added cream or maybe a bit of milk?

I think that Polish people have largely bought positive things to Britain, but if they choose to go home the British economy is not going to collapse (its already done that) and I also resent the stereotype that British people are lazy and the attitude of some Polish people here who think that we (Britain) owes them a living, whether it be in work or State handouts. If only Poland could show as much of a welcome to Brits working there as we have to them we could all be happy. Its true that there is racism towards Polish people in Britain, but as a percentage of the population I would say there are far more racist views in Poland than in Britain.. only my opinion of course.

regardless of nationality..guys who shave their heads are either going/gone bald, have head lice, want to look hard, in the army, like ska music, fresh out of jail or cant be bothered/cant afford to go to the hairdressers/barbers.
Not all Polish men are shaven.. but those that do shave their heads, do they shave their pubes too? oh sorry, thats a whole other thread.

complains a lot, stubborn as an ox, seriously moody, no-one can cook like his mother, minor ailments are major, Poland is the best at everything and centre of the universe (although he doesnt want to live there), most English people are lazy and stupid, other Poles in the UK are mostly ******rs, Indians and Jews are not to be trusted to pay you for work, distrusting of women and drinks like a fish... these are just some of the nicer traits of my Polish other half :o) I love him really.
