it is a proven fact that if there are two interview candidates with the same qualifications and one of them is overweight, the job is more likely to go to the slimmer one. I am not saying this is right, but statistically PP is right, there is positive discrimination in recruitiment towards people who are more pleasing on the eye.

This seems more prominent in some places than others. I visited my partner's brother's office in a small town in Poland and he is the only man in the organisation and employs around 10 young women, all of whom are young and attractive..especially the receptionist with her t***s hanging out... and this is a finance/tax corporation.

DO you really go to the grocery store in your pjs? Puttting the rubbish out is one thing but walking down the street in your nightclothes is just bizarre. Maybe you throw a coat on top? It seems you live in New York State, I thought women there were meant to be stylish or is that just a myth perpatrated by Sex and the City?

Anyway even good grooming doesnt neccessarily make you beautiful.. as for you guys who think all Polish women are the best thing since sliced bread.. wake up and smell the coffee.

why do you think Polish people would be bewildered by foreigners? I imagine even in the most tiny village most people would have had some contact with people from other countries.. Poland is hardly the Amazonian rain forest!

complains a lot, stubborn as an ox, seriously moody, no-one can cook like his mother, minor ailments are major, Poland is the best at everything and centre of the universe (although he doesnt want to live there), most English people are lazy and stupid, other Poles in the UK are mostly ******rs, Indians and Jews are not to be trusted to pay you for work, distrusting of women and drinks like a fish... these are just some of the nicer traits of my Polish other half :o) I love him really.

where are you thinking of? seems like many of us in Polish/non-Polish relationships have similar probs. around cultural differences.

I myself am dating a Polish guy and although he is not the best-looking guy I've ever met there is something about him..

I agree with this.. its the differences that attract.. and at times also pull you apart.

lets not forget pork scratchins..

you can rarely find pork scratchings in London.. I thought they were a Midlands thing, but sounds like they have them up North too? As for crisps, I dont touch anything except Walkers Salt & Vinegar.

just want to add my ten pence worth.......polish women are better than the women here beacuse the polish woman will look after her apperance and over here its just not the case

where exactly is 'over here?' where no woman looks after her appearance? anyway if its true, they are probably just the ones you have met and they couldnt be bothered since you didnt either.

As for being able to guess nationalities, come visit London, we'll go to a bar, and pick ten random people and I'll guess their nationalities;

i can do that too, but its not only about their looks is it, its also down to their dress sense and accent.
