Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Amen...I love my fiancee more than anything. We rarely argue and when we do it is ALWAYS over some cultural issue from one of us or the other. Double edged blade.

We have decided a third country is the only place we can really be on even ground.

Physical beauty is found in varying quantities all over...truly beautiful people are like needles in haystacks. I sure as hell am not worthy but I have one that loves me. Some day she will wake up and figure out she can do better but I am enjoying it as long as I can.

Work / Why Poland employers are afraid of hiring any foreign nationals? [171]

Jabwaw the point Zion is making in a real jerkoff kind of way is that Poland is hard enough to get a good job in for Poles...foreigners (especially non-white ones) have a real hard time unless they have some very in demand skills that can't be found in a Pole. Most foreigners that work here in good jobs work for an international company that has operations here, not a Polish company.

Good luck

News / Are Poles good enough for USA (to go there without a visa)? [288]

Anyone who gets to travel the world and see natural beauty in other places is lucky. Not just those who go to countries you love Kuchi.

And I know it makes you very angry because it attacks your ego but the fact is most Polish people could never afford to go and do what hariball did.

Sucks to be from a poor country doesn't it? But guess what...it is not the fault of the US or any member of this board that you were born here.

I wish I was born in Monaco to the royal family....then I'd have more money than I knew what to do with...but I was not...I guess that means I should hate Monaco. I wonder where I can find a flag to burn?

The people who whine the most about places have NEVER been there. And yes I have been to Monaco ;)

USA, Canada / Marriage laws: dual citizenship (Polish and US) preparing to get married to an American. [65]

OH hell yeah...marriage in Poland takes at least 3-6 months of nonsense.

There are other posts with details but basically Poland requires an embassy letter saying you are free to marry. The US doesn't give these so they DO give you a letter saying they DON"T give such a letter...and rather than just accepting this Poland makes you go to court to acknowledge the letter that says there is no letter.(this can take a couple months) THEN you take the courts 'permission' and register to marry. (this can take another couple months). Once you get permission you then have to make an appointment to be legally married (so forget picking a special day unless you plan a year ahead of time).

It's like most things in Poland...layered in nonsense and fees.

Go to Las Vegas and you can marry in a drive through in 5 minutes with only ID and it IS legal.

USA, Canada / Marriage laws: dual citizenship (Polish and US) preparing to get married to an American. [65]

Agreed...my fiancee and I are trying to decide where to get married. Here in PL it is stupidly bureaucratic yet her family is here and could not all go to the US with us where it would be MUCH easier to marry.

I refrained from answering your questions because all I have at this point is conjecture. Depending on who you talk to you get different answers.

What I do know is this:

Marriage in the USA is done on the State/County level. Some States/Counties require a marriage license some do not. Sometimes it is as simple as paying a fee for the paper...others it requires a blood test and more paperwork. At worst it seems to take a week to get all the bits in order...at best you can be married in less than a day. To my knowledge you cannot be "denied" marriage unless you are already married and even then how would they know? (not advocating that just saying there is no way a state or county is going to be able to confirm your status in Poland) I don't think you even need to prove your immigration status.

US Immigration is going to be utterly unhelpful and contradictory if you contact them that is why there are loads of firms that help people through the legal hurdles (for a nice fee of course)

The US may be as hard or worse than Poland to get residency/legal in...the difference is in the US you wont have to stand in the cold for hours and pay people bribes to get it done. You can do it from the comfort of a nicee waiting room or the phone :) Isn't progress great ;)

I know this is not an answer to your detailed questions but a bit of advice...DO NOT tell immigration or any US official you are planning to marry if you do decide to enter on a tourist visa to do this.

While yeah it is easier and many people do it, technically it is not allowed and all it takes is one jerk immigration officer who is in a bad mood to deny you entry (which they can do without giving you any reason).

Just go over like you normally do for a visit or holiday and don't mention a thing about marriage.

Work / Cost of Living, Average Salaries and Job sites in Poland [263]

If Poland depended on only natives here the prices would not be able to stay so high for things like restaurants etc...they would go out of business. Expats and business travelers support the costs.

The prices you listed are realistic.

The reason people can afford it here is because they don't live alone normally. Families live together with more people in a flat than is common in the west.

You could get by on less if you don't eat out, don't drink much and take public transport.

Poland is not "cheap" relative to what you get...not anymore.

Life / Cannabis / Weed in Poland... How much does marijuana cost per gram and how easy is to get it? [355]

Polish people complaining about Pot...with the amount of booze consumed here...is simply hilarious.

I guess all those people smashing pot bottles and singing and fighting at night are getting to be a problem. All those Pot shops and pubs that serve so much Pot are a disgrace to the country.

People high on weed are easier to deal with than you average sober person.

I think Harry needs a joint...would calm him down a bit. :)

Yeah but he is not speaking normally...he speaks like a pretentious person trying to impress everyone...and he does not make good points...AND most of his posts are just a series of questions because he is incapable of understanding anything other's say that doesn't fit into his world.

Yeah it is easy to say something is a joke to hide behind it.

It is clear how Greg and Puzz are...very clear...and it is a shame.

Puzz likes to look up words not in common usage to try and make himself look smart...it is a common tactic or empty wannabe intellectuals.

You wouldn't get the point if someone stapled it to your forehead.

And are you really so stupid to compare bad things done by generations past in other countries with bad things done by YOU and YOUR generation in Poland today? Wait...you evidently are....so no need to answer...rhetorical question.

Adroit? Vilify? Using our polish to English dictionary now are we...hehe.

You chose a fitting user name....it is puzzling indeed that you think you can demand answers from someone in such a tone.

I am bored with you.

You have to be what 14? 15yo? Ahaha...hehe...thanks for the laughs man. I needed it.

Oh you are so brave...easy to sit and talk about men that gave their lives for their country when you know the worst you will ever have to do is complain online. Poland is not going to be defending it's freedom against some evil aggressor in your lifetime....

You obviously don't know your own history if you think Polish fighters were doing it for the UK,US or anyone else...they fought for their own survival and the survival of Poland. Tell the family of those who died they were suckers...you should be ashamed.

Geez these internet patriots are a laugh!

Ahahaha...a spelling error creates such insight an meaning for you? Talk about looking for a fight.

You assertion that I want Poland to be all black is hilarious!!! I never said that yet that is how you see it..black and white. I simply want equality and decent treatment of all people regardless of race. Something you clearly disagree with.

And your last statement lies the truth....you think you are better than others and don't want that "polluted"

How very 'welcoming and hospitable' of you...err...I mean...well that's what the tourist brochures say!

The funny thing is if you talk to any Polish war veteran they are very humble, decent and fair folks...it is the younger generation that never fought for freedom for a second that are blathering on like this. They think they somehow know what it is to suffer when they have no idea....sickening and disrespectful to those that came before you.

You think because someone is from the USA they don't know where Georgia is? You guys believe too much of what you hear on TV. It is funny to hear people that have never been there and no nothing about it other than what they "hear" slag it off.

And define what about a nationality defines it as "decent"? That in itself is racist.

I am not from Western EU so it isn't my market :)

Poles do immigrate because they can make much more money than here....it is a fact...that is why there is a national effort to retain professionals and skilled workers...they have left/are leaving en masse.

Oh no!!! Poland needs a law to make it illegal to be coffee colored right away! Then you will be required to stand in line for 6 hours to get your coffee colored stamp and be deported.

I never sent a jacket to Africa...and you watch too much TV if you think people rob because they are black. Your talk smacks of someone that has never been to the places they speak of. The biggest nationalistic talkers have never left Poland and they imagine they have some real sense of how the world is living. I live in Poland and see first hand how the things you deny are.

If it wasn't about race then you wouldn't have the issues you have.
