Language / What does the phrase 'mój drogi' mean? [9]
I have a random friend I have been talking to for quite some time to practice my Polish. She is in her mid 20's.
I had asked to do a voice chat/phone call to properly chat. We finally agreed since she was shy and she offered me today.
I had asked as a joke if I need to shave, and she replied with a phrase saying 'nie mój drogi' and that she was waaay too shy/has to build herself up for a video chat and needed her hair done ect. She had laughing emojis so I know she was joking as well.
Anyway, I looked up the phrase 'mój drogi' and it translates to 'my dear'. So i was wondering if in Polish, 'mój drogi' is something you say to anyone? Is that anything like "kochanie" or is "mój drogi" just a more friendly way to speak to a friend?
Thanks!
