Is small almond eyes and curly hair a Polish or Jewish trait?

I don't have any Jewish roots but in my family when we have curly hair we have almond eyes
What is this..Why they are so small

it passed through my great-grandmother , grandma but later no one had them and again I have curly hair and almond eyes (not the bigger ones)
