Is Favorskiy a Polish last name? I know that in Russia it was given to priests upon graduation from the seminary. However, I can't seem to find any ethnic Poles with that name. My 2g-grandfather's last name was Favorskiy.

I'm not obsessed about looking Polish. I'm about 25% Polish and I'm just curious as to why most people say that I look Polish.
