History / Time for Slavic Commonwealth around Poland as center [223]

1. You are an utterly delusional nutter. There are healthier people than You in psychiatric institutions. One thread = eccentricity. Xxxx threads = nuttery.

2. I don't get it with you serbs. First you are pissed off because Poland joined EU and NATO and didn't give a flying fcuk that You got bombed for your genocides and war crimes. Now You want a union?

Take a hike, really.

3. That aside, Serbia isn't to be trusted. The Serbs have proven in the much recent past that they are unable to live peacefully with other nations or ethinicities.

Should Poland form any sort of union with them 5 years down the road they'll be at Poland's throat claiming Poles are occupying the ancient Serbian city of Gdansk.

To add a bit more.

Inviting serbs of all people to any sort of union and actually giving them voting power in this union means that such a unionist country will be extremely susceptible to populism, period.

Not a good idea.

Love / Are all beautiful Polish girls as crazy as this? [262]

Seanus speaks pretty much the truth.

The amount of ladies who genuinely believe that the sun shines from their ******* is higher in Poland than it is in other places.

It generally comes down to how boys and girls are raised over there ( applies to many other Slavic countries as well ).

"Many many times!" - exactly.

Don't even get me started on the whole "Polish princess" thing.

I tell a Jewish girl in U.S. that she's a princess - she immediately understands this was not a compliment.

I tell a Polish girl in Poland that - she's happy and thinks I was complimenting her, because that's what her parents raised her to be - a princess.

As a result there's a metric **** ton of women in their 30's in Poland who suddenly realise that, surprise, surprise, time doesn't stop even for a "Polish princess". Some guys actually make hunting them kind of a sport.

Contrary to Polish families, Jewish families don't encourage vanity in girls ( this may not hold true for some parts of U.S. where the Jewish blood is often very thinly spread out ).

In Poland it's in my opinion downright scary how vain and fickle some women can be and how society in general accepts that without even blinking. "Kobieta zmienna jest", etc.

Don't they know that a country can only have one true princess? ;)

Indeed. Although watching "Polish princesses" "compete for territory" can be hillarious at times.

Calling yourself the best is just the ultimate in vanity and leaves nothing to subjectivity

Agreed.

Not all Polish women are of that belief, but the ones that are...oh brother...

The problem is that they are so brainwashed into believing this that all arguments fall on deaf ears.

Well, defiance and defensiveness are also pervasive so any attempts to change their minds are fruitless. Therefore, the best reaction is ignorance.

Reached the same conclusion a few years ago.

He's using plain ol' English damn it.

And talking about something a number of my acquaintances from other parts of the world ( Germany, U.K., Belgium, France ) easily noticed when they spent a bit of time in Poland.

Work / Black English Teacher going to Wroclaw [247]

CzarDaniel

I'm a black guy.

I recently accepted a job as an English Teacher in Poland.

OMG!

You'd better sharpen up your karate game brother, because the locals are damn sure sharpening their spears right about now, anxious to hunt down and cannibalize an African-American bold enough to enter their part of the concrete jungle!

Sheesh... Chill out man. This isn't 1985 anymore. Wroclaw is pretty much a European city, I'll doubt anything be wrong as long as you take the same precautions as in NYC.

zetigrek "We have lot's of louts in Poland and they like to provoke males to fight and you being balck can be another good reason to provoke specifically you."

Sure, **** on your own kind.

Jews on the other hand, remind too many people of their shameful past, and so are looked on as more of a pain the ass.

I'm Jewish and make this no secret. Never had that problem. Care to elaborate?

Trener zolwia makes a solid point.

I wouldn't go as far as to call the threadstarter a racist, but he is hypersensitive - no doubt about that. Hence the sarcasm in my previous post.

That may very well be, but how long has white racism towards blacks been around? And how long are black ppl emancipated in the US? If the black ppl have to catch up with the whiteys in getting even on racism, we can expect some 250 years of black racism.

Lovely thinking. I assume that, being Jewish, I can go around killing Germans for as long as live then, since I also have "a lot of catching up to do"?

Love / Indian citizen wants to marry Polish Girl and get settled there. [107]

Damn, another one of those "plz get me a visa" types. And an Indian Schwarzenegger to boot. Full package, really.

One can actually see, at this very forum, that the UK has slashed Indian/Paki opportunities for immigration. I assume a few blokes at Wesminster must have thought things over.

And now, lo and behold, there they are, all these nice Pakis and Indians so desperate for Polish visas. Damn, what a coincidence.

Love it, absolutely love it :-) Although it would be a better experience if vivek here actually wrote in proper English...

Still, step by step... Dear vivek:

1) "Again racism . the only F*** racism." - I stated a fact. There seems to be a lot of gentlemen from India and Pakistan on the prowl for a Polish visa nowadays. This wasn't visible at all back when Poland wasn't in the EU.

Funny, isn't it?

And it got even worse a few years back, when the UK decided it won't let you ride their coattails anymore and cut down visa opportunities.

Like it or not sunshine, you are not the only special indian boy nowadays looking for a Polish, sorry, an EU, visa :-).

So, I stated a fact. You pulled the race card, as you boys usually do in almost all instances. Since I have now proven it was unwarranted, please take the said card back.

2) On a rather humorous sidenote, why is it that your women ( Paki and Indian ) aren't so keen to apply for EU visas? Oh, wait, they're still stuck in this whole hijab and arranged marriage hell, sorry that I asked :-)

3) Indians are amidst the most prejudiced people in the world. First of all, their social system actually makes it "ok" to completely **** over certain members of their society - the untouchables, as it was mentioned.

Then comes that whole race thing... Their attitude towards black people, for example, is usually nothing short of despicable.

4) I heard that Polish are polite and helpful but now I am seeing here how you guys are - I happen to be Jewish. So don't take it out on the poor Poles if I'm dissing you.

5) Hey. better you shut your mouth, it will be good for you - I see you are looking for a reason to get banned.

6) We Indians are that much capable to get employment. - you Indians are often a bunch of stuck up pricks that consider yourself superior to everyone else, as your sentence has proven.

7) All in all, this seems to be a typical visa scam. Dude met some dumbo "girlfriend" in a chatroom with the sole purpose of moving to EU.

Poland is in a unique position to avoid certain immigration mistakes that older EU states have made ( UK is closing down doors on Indians and Pakis for a reason ) and IMO it should start handling this matter.

How would it be better? Lets remember that he's a foreigner and English wouldn't be his first language. - it would be better since we could actually understand 100% of what he's writing as opposed to, shall we say, 70% :-).

English isn't my first language either. Yet You don't see Me spouting jibber-jabber and butchering it like there's no tomorrow.

Love / Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married) [125]

honestly?..

A lot of Polish men hate and fear responsibility, in any shape. Nowadays, some admit openly in front of people they would give up a lot if only they could go back to kindergarten, and spend the rest of their lives playing.

In turn, Polish women feel the pressure to prove that they are strong, independent, responsible, reliable, and whatnot, because it's really hard to find a job in Poland if you're a young woman (sometimes you will even get told things like 'I won't hire you, you will be pregnant in two years' flat out during the interview).

I'm not saying it's 100% like that, there are childish girls and responsible guys in Poland too, but the tendency is as above. And guys with Peter Pan complex tend to turn out the doormats after marriage, because they start to treat their wives as second mums, shoving all 'adult' responsibilities they can onto them.

Honestly?

I think You're spouting utter nonsense.

Love / Polish men are complete doormats (especially after they get married) [125]

1) According to most "hardcore Poles" I'm not Polish.

2) Like it or not,Peter Pan is a much more popular role-model for males in U.K., there must be more of them running around London town than there are ( or most likely ever will be ) in Poland. Hence I believe I summed up that part of the quote correctly.

3) Polish women... Sure some are "strong, independent, responsible, reliable, and whatnot, but at least as often ( if not more often ) they tend to be greedy, spoiled, convinced that they're a genuine princess and of low morality. Many of them pretend to be ladies of much class and high maintenance while at the same time they're ready to shag at a drop of a hat if You offer them a free place on Your sofa in London.

4) So, as I said, utter nonsense, or to be more precise - unfounded theories based on yuaelt's personal assumptions.

USA, Canada / To move back to Poland from the USA or not to move back....that is the question [119]

Hi,

You're lucky You've made it here, most PF users won't BS You around and will tell it like it is.

My 2 cents:

1) For the whole taxation issue You'll have to consult the appropriate binding agreement between Poland and U.S. regarding what's called dual taxation. I also believe what's mentioned in this article will directly apply in Your case:

Personally I never encountered a situation in which someone living strictly of US SSD moved to Poland, so I have no idea how it will be taxed. On one hand, the Polish IRS and ZUS ( Social Security ) are greedy *************, on the other hand U.S. has always had the knack of negotiating with the state of Poland and gaining favourable results for U.S. citizens... You'll have to check for Yourself.

2) ASSUMING Your 1500 USD is left intact and equals the sum You will have monthly at Your disposal You'll be good to go, even in Cracow or Warsaw ( though in both these cities You'll be on a bit of a tight budget ).

3) As was mentioned, a number of Polish people will tell You You're not Polish because You were born in the States and nothing will sway them. Same people tell me I can't be a Polish citizen because I am a Jew. Ignore them.

4) Don't take it for granted that You'll just be able to come over to Poland and live there. While I believe there are no visas required for Americans to visit I don't know if that's the case with a prolonged stay ( You are not an EU citizen ). Explore the matter further.

5) If You have Polish ancestors You might be legible for a Polish passport ( if You don't have one already ). This might save You loads of hassle, look into it.

6) While monetarily You will be fine I STRONGLY ADVISE NOT TO MAKE THE TRIP if You want to take an elderly person ( Your mother ) with You and take care of her over in Poland.

While the U.S. healthcare system has it's flaws, the Polish national healhcare system is a dump, period. Of course, You might "go private". But should Your mother have some serious health problems Your money might not be enough to pay for the costs of private healthcare, I'm being dead serious now.

And the public healthcare system in Poland quite simply has a knack for killing off elderly citizens.

That's all from me, thank You.

Love / Simon Mol - would he have been so "successful" in other countries than Poland? [121]

Ok, he recently surfaced up again and there's at least 1 member here who constantly talks about Polish women and "third worlders" so I chose to start this topic.

For those of You that don't know here's a ( really funny, I think ) link to a monologue from a Polish author Rafal Ziemkiewicz:

youtube.com/watch?v=CTmk_xxdL5A

To summarize, Mol was a guy from Cameroon who came over to Poland as a supposed political refugee ( this backstory was later found to be completely false by one of the Polish newspapers ). He was involved with the far left and liberals, but his main area of specialization was jogging around Warsaw and hitting up on young, Polish women. His pick up lines were clearly based on him being a negro and a fighter against political oppression. Agewise he was somewhere around 40, hard to tell.

Apparently said women were on him like flies on a big steamy pile of dog ****, because when he was finally arrested the Police and newspapers pinned around 40 cases of infecting a woman with HIV on him.

In the investigation dude pretty much owned up that he knew he was HIV positive, but hated using a condom so in case a Polish girl asked him to use one he just wailed on her for being supposedly racist. And after that all of these Polish women gave up, spread and took the HIV-infected cock, forgetting the condom ( they didn't want to be "racist"...lol... ).

Now, I'm thinking whether Mol would have been so successful in U.K., France, Germany, Spain, U.S. or Italy. Breaking it down to two components:

1) Whether he would have found so many willing women through the use of pick up lines based on "hey, look, I'm black!" and "I fight against the injustices in Africa!!" ( funny thing that last one actually, since Poland had no colonies and "white guilt" cannot be taken into account ) ?

2) Whether women of a nationality other than Polish or Eastern European would have fallen for this "You're racist because You want me to use a condom" bollocks?

My answers are 1 = no and 2 = no.

Now, before anyone uses this argument - Mol usually targetted Polish women with a leftist background, not the Catholic schoolgirl from the deep forests of Suwalki type, so they knew a thing or two about contraception, HIV risk, etc. and were supposedly progressive.

I especially would like to read Lodz_the_Boats contribution because he got so miffed in another topic.

Cheers.

Love / Simon Mol - would he have been so "successful" in other countries than Poland? [121]

So You're basically saying that most Dutch, English, German, American women wouldn't laugh the guy out of their bed, had he told them he won't use a condom because he's black/martian/Polish/Chilean?

Sorry, I have to disagree.

But ok, assuming You're right, since You said that without a doubt he'd be so successful in all of the countries I mentioned = why hasn't there been even 1 case like Mol's ( both modus operandi and scope ) in any of these countries recently?

It's not like he's the only African casanova with HIV...

Sorry guys, I'm really awful busy nowadays and I'll reply to Your comments once I get a bit of free time...

But since some of You want to know - This topic was started partially because I find the question presented here interesting and partially because our resident knight-crusader for the good name and virtue of all Polish women - Lodz_the_Boat - made some personal comments that weren't to my liking. I think that Mr. Mol's example clearly shows some of the issues a certain percentage of Polish women have, hence I started the topic.

I've been struggling to remain to my "polite" limits with you ... but I find myself successful.

Since just the other day you called me scum and told me to go and die I don't think I'd like to see You operating outside Your "polite limits", sir, since we'd probably have to get the Police involved :-)

Love / Simon Mol - would he have been so "successful" in other countries than Poland? [121]

It started on Simon Mol and perhaps it might be better to stick to him in the topic.

Despite my pleas, none of You were able to provide a recent case of same scope from Western Europe/U.S. in which an African immigrant managed to get 40 (??? - the jury is still out on the specific number ) women infected with HIV because he told them they're racist when they asked him to use a condom. Cases You provided concerned at best a few instances of getting someone infected.

In my humble opinion Poland and a few other states from Eastern Europe are the only places in the world where such a case of such scope was possible right now. In other places it would have been downright difficult for any African charmer/scammer to find such amounts of gullible women on whom accusations of racism worked like a court issued "shut up and spread 'em" order.

Ogien -

Women don't exactly head off to college to become nuns, You know?

But apart from that I agree, that the reason the number of materialistic/slutty women amongst women from Eastern Europe is visibly higher than amongst women from other parts of the globe is because many parents from Eastern Europe do a ******** job while raising their daughters.

PennBoy - Ja bym tego śmiecia na pal wbił - I agree. The state should have pressed murder charges against this ******.
