They don't like to trust strangers

Met some during last summer vacation. Seemed to me quite open to now contacts.

They are kind and funny. just love company of others and have their celebrations

Slavic people are very sociable. They like others around and if there is a celebration even better.

many Polish stick to their families and close friends

They need like everybody a foundation, just that for slavic people the family/friends, close friends still have a higher value than in the individualistic society in the West.

Their society is based on different values. Slavic people like to stick in contact. They like company and are connected to their roots. Individualizm is not a goal for them, until recent political changes and the influence from the West.

Sorry BB, but unfortunately Poland does not have a big voice in EU. In a slavic alliance it would have a bigger, for sure.

What else (besides being slavic) would make such an alliance work? Is being slavic enough???

Yes, and do not forget the last words of A.H. from Austria: "... my biggest mistake was that I underestimated the Slavic..."

Better not to do this mistake again so soon. ;-)

That's easy black and white argumentation, but i would agree that polish women are more beautiful than english, talking about normal women, not those from the press, movies etc.

US&A? Been there seen it all. All in total, good average to me. ;-) Again, that is my personal opinion, but I cannot forget those 200kg tanks sitting in wheel chairs while entering Mc Donalds...

As I said. Maybe u don't get it. I can judge however I want. Every person has his own taste. That was what I was talking about.

I don't feel superior. Why do u have that impression? Ever heard that people have subjective sense of beauty - besides "scientific" standards?

Quite a few of them can't speak hochdeutsch. Schwizerditsch has also infected their schools.

Hochdeutsch=German

Schwizerditsch=dialect of German

If sth else is in use, those are dialects and of course the regional different pronunciation(Hamburg, Munich. Vienna). In principle it's German.

Ur right.

There is no "competition" between those countries language wise. They know that if they speak it that they speak German. Punkt. Not counting of course those local dialects.

We call that Hochdeutsch.
