Your post was vague and makes no difference anyway; why shouldn't people buy homes where they live? Any 'pressure' on housing is common in large cities and if anything is the fault of social housing planners and politicians who believe housing is a 'market'.

This occurs regardless of the level of inward migration to a country. If a major city has a surplus of housing it indicates a stagnant or declining economy.

No. It keeps living standards for many over there very low compared to more developed places. The median income in some counties is lower than provincial Romania.
