As for PRL, I agree. As for the EU, it isn`t true. You can practise your RC denomination freely, it isn`t limited or banned.
The current trend of negating the need of religious upbringing is also the fault of the RC Church, in Poland or elsewhere. E.g, the top clergy refuse to remove priests involved in act of pedophilia. Even a simple investigation of such cases is a problem to church hierachs.

Nice. We couldn`t drop cards due to the lack of them and had to economise on sweets which at times were rationed like during Jaruzelski`s regime rule in 1980s. Instead, we focused on the Eve supper which was our private business and the regimes were unable to meddle into it. :):):)

The Parliament has just voted for non working Eve 24th Dec starting next year. So far, shops were open until 2 - 3 pm on the day.
What do I think of it??? Actually, nothing special coz I am flexible and adapt easily to changing conditions if that`s what most people expect and they are able to explain their sound reasons in a sensible way.
