History / Poles should apologise to Ukrainians first [487]

Got a question from another thread for you Torqi:

If Alien would be and post as some Mohammed from Germany (with the same texts and him owning a german passport), would you also treat him like a "volksdeutsch"?

How would that change your perception of him and his postings? Would they change at all compared to some Dieter or Katrin?

What precisely do you mean by that?

Alien started with the US as positive example of a working multikulti society...but even they were not multikulti! The defining groups were Europeans...from different european countries, but Europeans...even when adversaries and rivals, they build the US on a european heritage!

What today immigrates into european-shaped societies is decidedly non-european, coming from far away places...no common heritage at all...culturally, traditionally, religiously not my kin!

The native-Americans know that feeling better, I guess...

Good night all, I'm bowing out for the night!

Humanity did always run in packs...in groups....in tribes...thats what we are used to, what our instincts scream for.

Living in some undefined mush, were people want to rule you who have nothing to do with you and your kin only works in "good" times...in times of so much abundance that nobody truly cares who gets how much of what, were people met/immigrated in for the money only in the first place....but that changes immediately in difficult times....this mush is not for the hard times, that is no nation.

Because that is the role of politicians.

Commonly, usually yes....that's how it worked all these centuries! But in a future with a thrown together undefined mush? Who cares, and why should they care in the first place, they have no part in a common past anylonger.

And you know how they say....no past - no future!

.....multikulti has failed as a lefty vision, that all mix peacefully and build something new, this concept is not working, people don't work that way....its after all not only the genes, its the HERITAGE! The culture, the history, the past, the whole thing which makes a people!

And the former home countries don't just vanish, these people come with a whole culture, history, religion themselves....and people just don't change heritages like a jeans!

Now back to my former question in post #148...and don't play stupid, Alien!

No, but Arabs are a white race.

What??? I doubt that any Afghan, Pakistani or North African counts himself as white, as of european race/culture/heritage!

....and why do you avoid my questions?

.....ask our neighbours if they ever would think of Ali or Aishe as Germans which whom they share such important points in their history like WWII and the Nazis!

Ask yourself!

And why should a Cem or a Özgul ever knee before some holocaust memorial or think about reparations for Poland...that is just ridiculous! A chosen passport doesn't make a heritage....some have even two or three.....

News / Polish-Russian war? Drones entering Polish airspace. [252]

There is hope....we still have "it"!

There's a drone alert in Poland - and in London, a German company is receiving a growing number of inquiries for a new air defense system! The DSEI UK arms fair in London - THE industry meeting place, and the ultimate weapons show. Also present: the German arms giant Rheinmetall.

The company declined to comment on business deals or inquiries. But BILD knows: After the attack by almost 20 Russian drones over Poland, of which only three or four were intercepted, there is nervousness. In Poland, too.....

archive.is/20250911132958/bild.de/politik/inland/russen-drohnen-ueber-polen-jetzt-erkundigen-sich-alle-nach-dieser-deutschen-waffe-68c28cc1e94fcb47b9cd4a3e#selection-2239.0-2247.104

....Poland immediately inquired

And: As observed at the trade fair, Poland contacted Rheinmetall immediately after the drone attack, requesting its Skyranger system. The first systems are now being delivered to Ukraine, where the predecessor air defense systems are already in use.

EU and NATO countries - including Romania and Hungary - have already placed orders. Germany also placed a large order - and desperately needed it: After all, the air defense system was disbanded in 2010 - one reason why Germany was able to provide Ukraine with a massive supply of the Gepard anti-aircraft vehicle. The Gepard is considered extremely successful in defending against Russian drones in Ukraine...

Can you believe how STUPID and complacent we have been???

...Drone completion much cheaper

Now, Skyranger. It's considered a relatively inexpensive solution for defending larger areas against drones and other air attacks. The ammunition is fired from cannons - although programmable, unlike expensive systems, it's not self-guided - and therefore cheaper.

Maybe Putin's cunning plan,

....you know, I wondered that myself!

To show the many holes in NATO defenses regarding modern warfare and get the experts perking up, showing the urgency of changes and investments to the high up deciders...well, then this attack was a big own goal!

But....not all in Putins circle are the smartest of their bunch....maybe they just are that stupid?

Or it was meant more as a psychological threat, hoping to make more people cower in fear...helping the pro-Putin-white-flag-waving politicians in the western capitals gaining support?

News / Polish-Russian war? Drones entering Polish airspace. [252]

because it was mainly the Dutch F-35 that shot down the drones!

....that also showed one big hole in our defense.

....F-35s against drones "do not make sense"

The F-35 fighter pilots attacked the drones with AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles. The problem: Firing a missile costs more than 400,000 euros - for a drone that costs just a few thousand euros.

A senior NATO officer told BILD: "In the long run, it makes no military sense to use the F-35 against drones." Therefore, according to BILD information, the alliance is examining various options to counter Russian provocations....

bild.de/politik/ausland-und-internationales/polen-vorfall-400-000-euro-fuer-eine-abgeschossene-billig-drohne-68c1d4d19f4fa552b0d73d90

If attacked with massive waves of drones this way of defense becomes quickly useless!

Something good may come out of this attack yet...it showed clearly NATO's weak points concerning drones!

Our thinktanks are already smoking with new ideas how to rebuild our border defenses....different weapon systems (F-35 are not helping) and new tactics (from the ground)...learning from Ukraine is a key...

Hopefully we get our **** together soon!

News / Why should Poland consider pursuing a strategic alliance with Russia? [396]

Oh, your eternal optimism, BB! :)

:)

....but what I mean is better not making the past between your peoples the one and only viewpoint from where to watch the development, but look at all of the movements on that chess board called world politics!

News / Why should Poland consider pursuing a strategic alliance with Russia? [396]

why can't we?

The former Cold War lines and sides weren't so clear cut chosen from the beginning either, Torqi!

And the West is still in the starting boxes....confused, arguing, scratching heads...some even haven't acknowledge this new realties yet.....and even back then there were also the so called neutral states.

What I think would happen when Ukraine loses is motivating Russia to repeat that game move....here...in Europe...in our neighbourhood....after all they just gained a big point, why not trying it again? Our future safety would depend on the mood in the Kremlin!

On the other hand with Russia losing, that would send a clear signal...not here....not Europe...make your proxy wars elsewhere again, but not in our 'hood!

That would mean Ukraine would become the first clearly drawn border of the so called new world...and all behind would be safe.

News / Why should Poland consider pursuing a strategic alliance with Russia? [396]

If only it was so easy, BB. If only.

Thats the thing, I truly think it is....if you see the world with a view of a new developing Cold War, then Ukraine is only one of many coming proxy wars. Every victory, every loss draws the borders of this new world new. One side gains a point, the other loses that point, but it doesn't end that new global rivalry. The next "match" is already in the planning, somewhere...maybe even near(er) you....

When you cut out all the propaganda, all the arguments....which side (and not only Ukraine or any other pawn in this new chess game for the world) would you want to win in the end (even probably decades we most probably wouldn't even be alive anymore to see)?

It isn't about Ukraine alone...not really....

Can anyone answer the question already?

I guess there are two answers possible....a consequence of ones wants and wishes and mentality, whats really important to him....just survival? You can surely live your life within a victorous russian-new Chinese-Empire, whatever....but I guess at least as many people prefer to live in a victorious West!

So....the question is, whom do you want to win? There ist you answer...

News / Will PiS be happy if AfD wins elections in Germany? [1442]

Speech may be free, however the violence which it could incite, isn't

The "could" is the problematic point!

You can't just decide from your own political leanings what is "violence" or maybe "defense" or "prevention" or whatever!

Ever heard of Maja T?

...What happened in Hungary

T. was arrested in Berlin in December 2023. The case concerns acts allegedly committed in Hungary in February 2023. At that time, T. is said to have traveled to Budapest with a group of people. The group is reported to have committed a total of five crimes over several days at different crime scenes in different constellations. The Dresden public prosecutor's office has received around 950 hours of video footage from the Hungarians. The videos allegedly show T. during and after the crimes and in an Airbnb apartment. The group is said to have attacked people from the far-right scene with telescopic batons. The alleged perpetrators are classified by the authorities as left-wing extremists. The group is said to have formed around Lina E., who has since been convicted, in Jena.....

lto.de/recht/hintergruende/h/extradition-maja-t-rehabilitation-house-of-representatives

Declare one an enemy and you can bash heads in to your hearts content....it would be not real bad "violence" after all, but needed "defense" and in the case of some "Nazis" even "necessary prevention"....right???

Maja T. is actually widely supported by the Left...no talk of being a hate-crime or speech inciting violence...nothing....of course not, she did hurt the right ones, right?

The moment speech gets canceled/forbidden/punished for the possibilites it is always misused and abused for political uses, just wrong!

fix what is broken but destroy it at the expense of values that lie at the heart of our constitution. That is not acceptable and never will be.

You know.....I feel more threatened by a Linke who openly wants to abolish the capitalist system and reinstate socialism aka GDR 2.0....still, this party is not threatened by a Verbot and is totally a coalition possibiltiy for the mainstream parties, if need be also for the CDU.

In discussions about capitalism and socialism you often hear "let the people decide"....

You are not fooling anybody!

I'm bowing out here....Gute Nacht all

It wasn't though. The murder of people trying to escape the GDR was in fact illegal even by the laws of the GDR.

Oh please....then why did it happen again and again with the killers getting rewarded? Ever heard of the "Schießbefehl"???

§ 27 des Grenzgesetzes von 1982

The GDR's "shoot-to-kill" order was an order to border guards to use firearms to secure the border and arrest or kill refugees in the event of attempted escape. Officially, the GDR denied the existence of the shoot-to-kill order, but it became a reality through laws (such as the 1982 Border Law), orders, rewards for killed refugees, and ideological influence on soldiers....

Meaning everybody declared an "enemy of the state" by the gov in East-Berlin....it was easy to become a criminal, wanting to leave was already a crime!

Stop the BS, Tacitus! I don't take THAT one lightly... the last victim, Chris Gueffroy was killed near my 'hood....I could practically hear the shots!

The murderer and their superiors and the responsible gov politicians got only problems AFTER they lost....

Look at the wording Tacitus...it sounds so clear and nice and upstanding....could stand like that also in the german Verfassung, right?
