Germany is a federation as is the US....what if one or more of the east german Bundesländer, now after the regional elections in September with a very strong AfD influence
(they don't even have to be part of the gov to pull strings), act purposely against orders and laws made in Berlin? Especially against immigration and asylum-seeker? Not quite a secession, but still.....
