That is pathetic.

Those Ziobro guys left PiS and created their own faction/club, hoping to be a better, more reasonable right wing party in order to win next elections.

I am afraid with such stupid rhetorics they are going to remain another clone of manic PiS, with disastrous ballot results.

One thing is for sure- they are veritable PiS guys. Incorrigible.

It was really hot in the Sejm today. MPs debated whether Foreign Minister should be fired for his German allegiance. The events were so dynamic that I barely comprehend what happened:

PiS member accuses FM of betraying Poland and voting for second Yalta:

Giant brawl provoked by PO member who suggested that one PiS female member is retarded:

Palikot said to PiS members: I prefer being a European with the French and Germans as compatriots, than you, Polish nationalists.

PiS members put on little flags on their jackets, Palikot guys displayed UN flags:

Tusk said that PiS had supported bandits who attacked the police during 11 November riots.

he didn't exactly said that.

Yes, he did.

He said that the most damage was done to the Police force by kibole (or people wearing kibole scarfs to be exact).

Yes, and then went on saying that Kaczyński and PiS had avidly supported the hoolligans recently.

What is wrong with your sources? They cut off power to your house in the middle of the debate? :):):):)

And then he went on saying that PiS`s support for right wing youth who "deal with" the Polish left inspires horror.

Kaczynski took it out of context.

No, he didn`t.

BTW, who do you mean? :):):):)

During the parliamentary debate, Tusk said that PiS had supported bandits who attacked the police during 11 November riots. PiS members left the room in protest and the Saviour threatened to take him to court for that.

If the Prime Minister gets up the courage to speak to me outside the Sejm this groove him two processes - Civil and Criminal , announced after the occurrence of the Sejm head of government, the president of the Law and Justice . Jaroslaw Kaczynski referred to the words of Donald Tusk , allegedly had a relationship with the people who were fighting with the police on November 11 in Warsaw. - This is an outright lie - said the leader of the PiS. When the Prime Minister said this from the parliamentary rostrum of the PiS deputies in protest left the meeting room .

- I call Donald Tusk to ensure that what is said about the support I those who were fighting with the police on November 11 , said the parliamentary rostrum not - because then it is hidden for full immunity material - only in other circumstances.

"Donald Tusk is responsible for the Friday riots" - says Jarosław Kaczyński.

In the Polish section of PF I once said that the only asset of the Saviour could be his patriotism if it wasn`t played in such an idiotic way. Just like today.

The Saviour said that Germans beat Poles who carried national symbols and it was unbelievable that Tusk allowed it.

Palikot defends his party colleague and claims that Polish homophobia may eliminate us from the EU.

If the Union knew that Poland has the face of homophobia , Stefan Niesiołowski , Julia Pitera , we would not be in the European Union - rated in " Kropka over and " Janusz Palikot . According to him , the behavior of MPs in relation to Robert Biedroń is " embarrassing " .

In the " Kropka over and " Palikot Members commented reaction to the speech Mr Robert Biedroń that has been stamped out laughing. Gay MP publicly accused other MPs of the lack of tolerance for sexual minorities when they burst into laughter after he had used the phrase: A blow below the belt in his speech. He said their scandalous reaction was the effect of the lack of sexual education. MPs continued laughing but he didn`t give in. Good for him.

See at 1:00.

Sex might sound ambigous here. I would say: gender. :):):)

Yes, we can expect more that kind of stuff from him. :):):)

Circus, circus.........

PS. Wanda Nowicka, Palikot`s candidate to the post of deputy marshall, was turned down in the ballot. Amazing, but PO and PiS politicians are unanimous about it: she is too controvercial. E.g., she is believed to have said that Polish officers murdered in Katyn were losers.

Post of Mrs Nowicka , or its immediate surroundings , from her house , which she could not comment about " darmozjadach of Katyn " were so outrageous that the result of the vote was predictable - said on TVN24 Deputy Parliament Speaker (PO) commenting on the first vote on the nomination of Ms " Palikot Movement " to the position of Deputy Speaker . He agreed with the Law and Justice deputy , who found that the person acting as the Speaker should be the least controversial.

Monika Olejnik is controversial to say the least, wouldn't you say?

No, I wouldn`t. She seems aggressive and prying to us, but that what modern journalism is about. For American standards, she is a sweet angel, so don`t complain because she could be much much worse. And she has always been like that - I remember her from 1980s when she worked in my fav radio station.

See her in a socialist bottle bank:

how is palikots movement first days in parlament? ?What bills do they plan to introduce?

Funny but Palikot has been overshadowed by turbulences in PiS. Today a faction of 17 MPs have created a new club in the parliament. They are henchmen/supporters of Ziobro who was thrown out of the party a few days ago.

Anyone predicted a split up in PiS? :):):)

Boletus, thanks for that article. It is the first time I have read (tried to, at least) right wing Gazeta Polska. Oh, my dear God! Who is the recipient of that heap of crap? ????? A primary school graduate? Have they ever thought there might be some intelligent guys in Poland?

Sorry, I couldn`t read it to the end.

It turned out that that alliance is not durable at all. "Leaders of the football fan movement did not fight strongly enough to influence political choices of their sympathizers - the guys from the residential housing."
:-)

Yes, :-) :-) :-) :-) :-).

Did you notice an apology on their site? The court ruling forced them to apologise to TVN station for publishing false info.

Lets try once more:

Good. You are determined! It is very positive asset!

Why you talk only about PiS?

Because I am fascinated by bad guys????

What is a point of that ?

I want to relish my fascination????

Is that your obsession or you are getting paid for that ?

Yes, it is my obsession to make fool of you and myself. :):):):):)

Now, on a serious note.

Do I forbid you to discuss PO`s circus? You are free to write what you want.

What did I fekking propose in my first post here?

Tell us about the PO circus! :):):):)

Do you know this wise saying?: Live and let live! I see it as: I write about PiS, you write about PO, and we achieve perfect balance and democracy in PF.

Do you understand now that your silly questions are stupid?

I just don't understand why Kaczynski let it happen.

He let it happen many times before. A dozen or so main players, with supporters have left or been expelled from PiS since 2007 but the party has held strong.

And let`s never forget the quote:
Kaczyński is obsessed with power, he will never give up his leadership of PiS, even if it wins mere 3% in future elections.

Why ?What for ? What would be a point of that? Is that your mental illness or something else?

Hey, are you retarded that you ask so many questions at a time?

Unlike the PJN people (who the core PiS voters didn't care about) Ziobro has a real grassroots following and enough voters are liable to drop their support for PiS that the party will be gutted.

He's more than capable of splitting PiS in half, especially

What does the forum think he will do? Form yet another party(club)?

There is a Polish - Jewish saying: 1 kilogram of trade is better than 2 kilograms of work. Ziobro prefers to be his own boss in a newly created tiny party than Saviour`s assistant in bigger PiS.

He realises that with Saviour at the helm, PiS has no chance to ever rule again in Poland. And Ziobro certainly would like to relive his fascinating adventure with power and influence that he had in 2005-2007.

The latest poll suggests that he can count on some support.

PO won election after four years in power and all you lot talks about is the opposition party.

How about the other way round? :
PiS lost elections after 4 years in opposition to the government which, as you say,

How to do nothing and appear to be very busy? - thats PO !

Doing nothing in the dead of deep economic crisis? Unforgivable!

Yet, PiS lost again.

That is achievement unseen in the annals demcoratic countries.

I agree.

Pawian, just like the last 4 years with PO, there is virtually nothing to comment on.

OK, so don`t comment on PO. Let`s talk about PiS. :):):):)

I'm sure the Government isn't going to be too concerned about them fighting with each other

PO and others are peeing themselves with glee at this self-destruction of PiS. I liked one comment: The horde is ripping up and gutting itself. :):):):)

The thread about Polish elections 2011 is slowly coming to its end, having reached nearly 1000 entries.

Why not start a new one about the post-election political life in Poland?

E.g.,

were repeating the some mantra, which they have been doing in the last week or so

We are true patriots of PiS, Kaczyński is out true leader.

The solemn declarations didn`t help 3 renowned PiS members. They were expelled today by the party`s discipline commission.

Opposition party Law and Justice expels critics
04.11.2011 20:38
Zbigniew Ziobro, vice-president of the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) and two other politicians, have been expelled from the party, in what could be a major fracture in the conservatives after losing successive elections.

Ziobro said the decision today was "detrimental to the right wing" and that he would appeal.
"This is a bad day for the Polish Right," he told journalists.

Wow! So it has happened, as many people had predicted.

Comments: Ziobro is already out of PiS, it is only a matter of time.

Lets better foucus on Poland's beloved leader Tusk, his gov and this plans for Poland for foreseeable future. Whats that would be ?

Yes, what? Tell us about the PO circus! :):):):)

Life / Stop buying contraband in Poland! Really? [24]

Quarter of adult Poles buy smuggled goods
31.10.2011 08:29
One-in-four Poles have admitted to an opinion pollster that they have, at sometime, bought goods that they knew were contraband.
Twenty three percent told the CBOS pollsters that they had bought smuggled goods, usually cigarettes or alcohol.
Five percent said that they had bought contraband petrol.
Men are three times more likely to buy smuggled goods, finds the survey.

s

The Polish government started a campaign: Stop to Smuggling! They claim it costs the state`s budget 6 billions zlotys annually. This money could create 200.000 new workplaces, a few hundred creches, or a tunnel for Tricity, or other facilities.

I don`t know what to think about it. The budget loses, indeed, and that`s umpatriotic, but what about millions of poor people in Poland who buy cheaper contraband goods? They spend less, don`t they?

Could you discuss it in a clever way so I know which side to support?
