anyways, I didnt find his assessment to be a discussion, it was insulting to polish
people, and to start a thread with that type of view, what is expected? nice replys?

I dare you to walk into a resturant and strike up a conversation with someone polish
and say that.. see the response you get.. make sure you put on your boxing gloves.

as for hitting home, nope it doesnt, because I am American-polish , it just bothers
me that so many have such a bad opinion and the large generalization of all polish not

in something, how could they know how you want things? your talking language barriers

well, I dont know about that, if its true, someone needs to do some heavy cleaning

I agree. but people will form their own opinions of the people they meet in their '
life, this is media, we all know truth.. its not limited to just polish.
as I said before , the one they have to face is the person they look at in the mirror

where did you get the Seliga? from a ship record? ultimately a town name has to be
found.. even though this name was first mentioned in 1366? or 1386 were the two
dates for coat of arms. our families belong to same coat of arms.

many of the older variety i.e. 40+ weren't so pleasing on the eye, so ipso facto i realised that Polish women must not age very well.


I prob wouldnt if you didnt actually do it.. and just made light talk of it,, saying like polska doll did about diet, lifestyles etc.. while I am aware some women can look much older then their actual age.. due to hard lifes or drinking etc.. it applys to all women, not just women from poland. as it would apply to all men who might have the same issues of aging and not looking like they did at the age of twenty and something to look at right :)

the focus being on polish women.. physical ..

to me the thread is stupid. his point is polish women not aging well.
this can apply to any nationality.. my point is, why is it so important to worry about how women age when they do so much. your mother ages. are you going to call her imperfect because this is a natural form the body takes as we get older?

again, I think its negative.. we know our own destiny do men think we look forward to getting old and being looked upon by younger eyes as disgusting? and should they treat older women as such because this is how human nature works? is it that important to think so many years ahead of how your wife may look so you can decide to dump her after bearing your children, washing your smelly clothes. cooking ,cleaning, and doing all the crap men dont want to do while they sit on their fat rumps and gain weight and look at all the prn mags and then come hom one day to say hey.. guess what.. the problem with your request is there isnt really someone on this site who does researching.. Polonius knows of some resources or you can do some researching yourself ( ancestry.com) is a huge site and can be helpful in finding some documents here that will give more insight on your family and the name.

you know what town/city so thats a plus.. but you have to do the footwork..
you need to find her fathers name as well as the mothers maiden name too and siblings.

have you visited the ellis island website or steve morse yet?
have you checked baptismals? cencus and death records ?

you want to get a definate on the name of the town so you can get these records. I had descrepancies so I looked up both ..

good luck to you.. I think visiting your local history center will also help :)
