It's more to do with historical and economical position of Poland thought out of last 300 years.
Poles were fighting for their independence and just to stay a life, this took a lot of energy from nation
energy that could be put to use in researched and development of new ideas.

People in United States do not care about Poland as they are ignorant about contributions of Polish people to their freedom and culture.
The United States uses and abuses Poland for their own imperial aspiration and Poland let them do it for some reason.
Polish people think that Americans care about them even know where is Poland on a map.
Poland will be better serve if Poland will create relation with Slav nations so someday we can unify for one superpower.

I will include U.S. military and Israel military the point is we need to prosecute war criminals to the fullest as war is evil.
I agree on one condition - all Russian military criminals who comitted war crimes in Chechenya, including levelling Chechen villages by carpet bombing, will be sent to independent European courts in Hague and handled in a proper way.

And I am sure Stalin would never attacked Poland if French and English had attack Germany.
Poland was betrayed by their allies and now I do not understand why Poland join nato and is allied to terrorist state
of United State and send troops to Iraq and Afghanistan, is Poland gluten to be betrayed time and time again.
Polish interest would be better served by mending fences with former soviet republics and creating Slavic alliance.

Poland never had any guarantee with Bolsheviks on its eastern border and I think they lay claim to Poland as it use to be a Russian empire so the war was a war of necessity.
