I came to that conclusion from just listening, really. The Japanese are bad for that too but they only tend to say that they have 'bijin', which means a beautiful woman (women in this case). They never said they were the best in the world to me. Polish? Many many times!

Um, well, they are not necessarily beautiful, the ones I was referring to. However, they tend to be and they are spoilt. Personally, I don't like seeing people as small in stature. This is a judgemental approach, no offence, and one which I don't go in for. People are who people are.

Aha, but there is a linguistic nuance at work here. When we say 'are they all as crazy as this?', we are really asking 'is this normal?'. We should know that, of course, people are just people and they are not all that way at all.

Seriously, the OP is deadly accurate in how he describes certain women I know here. There is no sense in debating with them as they can't be wrong. They also want you to attend every family gathering which is time consuming. Conflict is very much sought after, just for the sake of it. It's very lame, really.
