Love / Polish women are the most beautiful in the world! [1718]

Her parents were called Władysław and Bronisława Sklodowski - not exactly French names, are they?

Some of us (including me) have been in the house she was born in - which was still in Poland the last time I looked :)

Give 5 years they will all look like English girls.

The new stock coming through looked a right bunch of porkers to me.

If that means that Polish women start looking closer to size 12, instead of size 0, then I'm all for it! You can have the undernourished, and I'll take the "real women", because I can handle 'em, and you can't, hehe :p

I bet you're one of those English guys who can't pull and has skinny red legs like a crab..:)

LOL, I bet his "pork sword" is a bit on the slim side as well haha.

Where are the videos and pics of the Polish women to rival the rest of the world?

tbh it doesn't really matter to me whether they "rival the rest of the world" or not, I just like them :) But I prefer slightly older women to most of you lot, so my choice would be someone like Katarzyna Herman...

Food / What exactly is Polish Bread? [91]

Polish wedding bread

Nice :)

I never had bread like this at my wedding! haha

It is probably sacrilegious but Polish bread makes good toast.

Now, this is something I must disagree on.

In my experience, Polish bread simply becomes too hard when toasted. I like my food, but for some reason, I always find that the best toast is made with... plain old bargain-basement English white sliced bread from the supermarket lol.

Same with English fry-ups: there's no point using "Sainsbury's extra-special sundried tomato and extra-lean free-range pork" sausages which cost £15/kg with your beans and toast, just use the cheapest, chavviest plain old sausages from Iceland for 90p a pack. Why this is the case, is beyond me! lol

Language / Is the term 'Polak' derogatory?? [254]

:)

I have no problem with Scottish people generally. But I do have a problem with a certain Scot who thinks he's Polish just because he moved there and holds a Polish driving licence, and thinks that this somehow entitles him to decide who is Polish and who isn't.

Needless to say, we all know that he would never dare go up to a British-born Nigerian in London and say "you ain't a real nigga cos u weren't born in Africa blud". :)

UK, Ireland / Why Poles will never belong in England [283]

Each day? I don't know anyone who recently went to the UK. It's not the year 2004. It's 2011.

You think that only Poles move to Britain? That's what the papers want you to think, because it's acceptable to be prejudiced towards "East" Europeans, but not to those who cause the real problems (and who continue to enter the country in much larger numbers, and bring much bigger problems). Wait until Warsaw or Krakow starts to experience what London is experiencing, then you won't think it's so "egzotyczne" any more ;)

UK, Ireland / Why Poles will never belong in England [283]

anyone who mentions 'inventions' in this thread will incur my wrath.

Especially as the Chinese probably thought of most of these things thousands of years ago :)

First of all, the Poles that come seek work in England are generally speaking lower working class people. Successful and educated Poles need not be interested in bloody England

These days, yes. It's mostly Poland's dresiarstwo scum who move here now. This was not necessarily the case before 2004. Everyone knows why this is, but unless we destroy the EUSSR it won't change.

Apparently it's the lower class English who have a problem with the Poles working in England. Low class hating on the low class. The difference is, Poles will work, while the English complain about not getting paid enough.

Typical left-wing response. If you knew the range of people I know, you would understand that this is a lie; a wide range of social classes and people are sick of a thousand extra people entering the country each day, while it's likely that a thousand jobs are being lost each day. If you think this is acceptable, then it's time that the same thing happened to Poland, and see how you like it then.

Poland is now the 6th strongest economy is Europe and is on its way to becoming a major power in Europe

Without the EU, Poland would be nothing. Like the UK, most of its industry has gone. Where do you think all that money came from for those new motorways: rocketing sales of Polish textiles and cars? Don't make me laugh.

A Pole goes to England, works hard, gets married, educates his children, and his children blend into the English culture, where the only difference in the end is the last name. If you have a problem with that, maybe your daughter can marry a Nigerian.

If you believe everyone on here, Polish women do just that - marry (or, more accurately, get pregnant by :p ) Nigerians and quite a few other third-worlders as well! So which is it? :)

pgtx: not for girls, but for the girl - yes!

haha, pwned! :)

Seanus: There are lakes, mountains, seaside and also many nice buildings to look at :)

I've got all this within an hour of where I live, we have better choice of food, and my city is light years ahead of Poland musically (ok so Decapitated are good, but still, lol) so why would I need to visit Poland? If I start to miss seeing Pinocchio noses I can knock my neighbour up lol

History / Kashubians are nation in Poland? [124]

Kashubians are nation in Poland?

A minority in Poland, yes. A nation within Poland? No.

You may tell me where this fabled nation called "Kashubia" is, if you like ;)

or a Polish dialect?

Kashubian is a language closely related to Polish, not a dialect. Like with Silesian language, some will disagree.

and Silesians are completely weird, they'd rather be part of Germany.

I'd love to hear you say that to my Silesian relatives ;)
