Love / Simon Mol - would he have been so "successful" in other countries than Poland? [121]

You are confident in knowing things from a "sex educator" who happens to be your student.

well, she used to work with sex workers - aka prostitutes, HIV, drug users and other people like that, so answer your question: yes I am sure what she is telling me. I also have a degree in women and gender studies and sociology, so those topics are known to me.

Being all knowing in sex is not often the correct assumption.

as I said - that was her work and she had to deal with such people - it was the government work and the Polish government department, so the Polish government is also aware of different sexual behaviours and the risks involved - this is assume all over Poland.

For me, sex is empty without love, and love is empty without a promise.

sure and that is your choice or a sexual make up, however there are different tastes and different approaches/experiences such as this one:)

LOL then you should try sex on Extasy

then he will never go back, since the sensation is a very different and if off it, once will be bored with regular sex. However, he is happy without extasy and that is OK too IMO.

The evidence is around there just take a look and open your eyes.

hardly agree with southern, but this time I will

Not where I come from.

neither in Poland. southern obviously has the wrong info or interracts with women who are interested in such an arrangement, which probably everyone knows by now. Just because it happens doens't mean it is a trend, or a large scale accurence.

This thread is a nonsense.

of course it is since Simon Mol is an old news (dead) and I hope that since then Polish women are more sexually safe and aware, but there is no sense denying that such things don't exist. My student is a sex educator and she tells me first hand what most people don't know, including you:)

It has to do with culture too

so what are you saying? That it it in Polish culture to be a prostitute? You have to do better then that southern.

As Midas pointed out women from other cultures do not get engaged in such activities despite being poorer.

I am sure he did, but some do and some don't. It depends on the religion as well, so I cannot imagine many Arabic women being prostitutes considering the punishment and the general status of women in those countries.

However, if one looks at facts, poverty and illegality of prostitution in a given country is a common denominator.

Even wealthy women choose the easy road to success.

Please give me an example or statistics of Polish wealthy women choosing prostitution, or stop generalizing:)

Ogienwho said anything about excuses?

what would you know about them from your personal life anyways, you are too young.

You just heard something and read way too many unreliable sources.

date a virgin and problem will be solved. The question is: would the virgin want to date you?

southern
not true. They do. that is why they keep it secret. It is not about women being sluts, it is about women having less financial opportunities not only in Poland, but also around the world. Women who are financially stable and who are doing well are often single.

PS. I would appreciate if any men who post in such threads educate themselves on prostitution next time they decide to blame the victim.

What about those men who use the services ?

For those that don't believe me about Slavic women being the most common prostitutes, here you go. Filthy wh0res...

if you knew the economic and social reasons behind, but you are too shortsighted, aren't you?

Midas,

what are you trying to prove with this thread? Please, enlighten me:).
Why don't you try to stay away from Polish women all together. After all you claim to have successful relationship with a Jewish lady, who in some circles are considered to be oversexed;).

I love when some men on this forum try to use double standards while they are themselves not necessarily an example of the purity lol

Is is because some men are simply obsessed with sex? Luck of maturity perhaps and the lack of ability to deal with their own sexuality, mixed perhaps with projection as well: I sleep around, but I will point my finger at others who do.

Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

New York is #1 in politeness?

NYC #1 for polite people?

I have to ay - YES. Even nicer then in Toronto. I was there a couple of year ago and I was stunned by a good service and generally nice people. Never been to London, been to Warsaw - but not long enough to establish if people are nice. Generally in Poland people are friendly most of the time. Nicer then in Toronto I would say.

Love / Are Polish mothers-in-law monsters? [91]

you finally understand my reasoning

I do. You provided enough info to make a point. I hope she will learn the lesson. Some older people in Poland think that they can get away with things. I still have to teach my father certain things - eg. how to be honestly involved in my life without being patronizing just because he is my father.

Do Polish women talk too much?

they absolutely do. Silence is something they feel uncomfortable with and they are loud too, not to mention the speed. Some of them would make excellent bidders;)

News / A devestating verdict on the Polish church [279]

Poland's most popular newspaper. Educated Poles evidently prefer Gazeta Wyborcza's point of view to yours.

yes they do, even the ones who are wondering at the moment what happened to the CC in Poland and stopped going there for that reason alone.

News / A devestating verdict on the Polish church [279]

Calling Polonius3, Sokrates and all the dumb American Polacks - where are you?

But of course they won't mention it - the nationalists will have convinced themselves already that Wiesniewski is some sort of traitor.

Torq will say that GW has fabricated the article ;)

Anyways, there is nothing new in this article, but I am glad that the criticism comes from the church itself.

Life / Rate Poland (Life Quality / Culture and People / Food): 1-10! [232]

My animosity displayed on this forum, I would argue, is a product of my strong understanding of this very thing.

that just doesn't make sense to me. Obviously you lack patience for other culture as it is clearly displayed in your posts, or you are simply unhappy in Poland, which maybe the case since you are leaving. homesickness is what your problem is.

Bulls'hit. I was in the States in September and everyone looked like they wanted to kill themselves.

well, maybe the economic situation has something to do with it, but then again, I have learnt that anything you post is usually out of proportion.

anyways, back on topic.

Fuzzy, you have been toPoland for some time and you still compare everything to America as your point of reference.

Poland is not America and it will never be and I have to admit that the Americans has one of the best customer services in the world, even better then in Canada and I also agree that Poland should improve on their customer service a lot, but there has to be a law protecting people who are underpaid and work for peanuts (really). Many people who had fairly decent life were left without nothing once the communism was down and had to re branch (in America it is accepted and people are more skilled at moving across the country to look for another job), but in Poland it is not so common, since Pole are not such risk takers in that respect and I think that they like to stay closer to their families for one. It seems that even though you have been in Poland for some time, you have failed to gain some understanding of that culture, even though it has been your home. One the other hand I understand, since it takes a lot of effort and time to grow onto another culture. I hope that once you leave Poland you will take with you some good memories, not because I am a Polish patriot, but there is no way that you have never experienced anything good in Poland.

It will only happen once you go back to the US. Nothing in life is black and white and I am looking forward to your post from the states reporting on how you are finding your beloved country.

At this point I cannot predict what you are going to write, but I will be really interested in some honest evaluation of both countries once you set your foot again in the US. Good luck to you:)

well, that was off topic.
On topic:
the quality of food in Poland. It maybe lacks in variety when it comes to cultural background, but I still think that Polish cooking is really good considering the money Polish people spend on it. They are still able to make something out of nothing and I believe that salt should not be the only spice used in cooking.

I myself use a lot of them and some of my family members would not eat it because they are not used to the taste. Unfortunately I blame the lack of exotic spices during the communism, which still can be tasted in Polish cooking, but things are improving.

Today I am cooking a classic spagetti sauce for my cousin, which taste I brought from Italy years ago and I perfected it over the years in Canada. He asked me if it will have all the spices in it:), because he likes it.
