basic geographical fact is that Europe ends at the Ural mountains. Have a look at the map if you can be arsed.
Which would put Poland and Germany quite definitely in Central eUROPE. Mitteleuropa??

hahaha yeh. SOme Grannies like to be called Nanny,others prefer Grandma and still others (well one of my aquaintance) hate all of these and insist on either "Grandmother" or first name.

All this Babcia/Busha thing is really getting boring. I bet its a class thing or something. It's so unimportant, why do certain Brits who havent even got a Busha get so hot under the collare about it? Call yer nan wot u like.

ha ha same here in Wales, full stop. Although I did collect a few normal field type mushrooms last year, they were delicious, but will leave it to the babcias of POland to be more adventurous, don't wish to poison myself!

Would a 30 year old family court judge be allowed to preside over a case of international significance (In Law) with no prior knowledge of International Law and no experience in England? No.

why would/should a Polish Judge "have experience in England" any more than vice versa? Strange comment.
Incidentally none of us would have any idea what goes on in a Family Court in England, as these are totally secret.

The thing to do to make it cheaper to is to buy a ticket from Lichtenburg to Kustrin on the German side. Then when you arrive in Kostrzyn get off the train and buy a ticket to Poznan. Don't worry the train waits a while there. (but don't blame me if it doesn't) :)))))

This way you avoid international fares.

and for the English, 9,000 quid, first attempt or not.

Scottish health service is pretty poor in rural areas.

the Scottish and the Welsh are treated a WHOLE lot better than the English, its a fact. No prescription charges, no unnaffordable uni fees, no, these are reserved for the English. And if we say anything we are told we are "racist"

It is unfair to tell a black chap that he is european or english( substitute english for any other european nationality). It is patently untrue. He is and always will be, an african living on western european soil.

Lineage is more important than a passport. Remember that

FGS theres "black chaps" living in London Bristol or Liverpool whose "lineage" is lost in the mists of time. does it matter?

get plenty of instant coffee and some milk and sugar and cold water and.....put it in a plastic container with a screw top and shake violently (the coffee not you).....

pour it into a glass and add ice....stick in a straw...drink..

Therefore that one is correct.
I keep reminding everyone here that there is no academy of the English language and its beauty and strength lie in its flexibility and ability to adapt. ...:)

Most Brits say "If I was..." vs. "If I were.."

no we do not...:) Even my kid says "If I were you" AND he knows its the "subjunctive"..:)))... mind you he has got a pedantic old bat for a mum...;)

you may not be familiar with the terms but for example "second conditional" is like
"If I were Queen I would chop off your head"
and "third conditional" is
"If I hadn't eaten so much I wouldn't have got so fat"
While it's more natural to talk in a combination of these....the "mixed conditional"

While the contraction "Amn't I?" for "Am I not?" is flat wrong,

well I would have to disagree as there are many native speakers who would say this naturally (from Ireland)
Therefore it's not "flat wrong", it's dialect.
The great thing about English is it's impossible to be wrong. If something is used and understood, then it's correct, innit?...:)

"Am I not" is quite old fashioned but correct, as you say. It's the kind of thing my mum or my old English teacher would have said. Sometimes I find myself saying it to my kids.

"Aren't I" is colloquial, everyday English, yes.
As for pennyworth, I like your analysis alot..:)
