True....the GDR tried to invoke abit prussian spirit....to build on some of it's traditions...contrary to the West....you could be onto something....

Even if that might also to be about that the western lands were less traditional prussian lands as Berlin and Brandenburg and such...western states have other traditions....Rhinelander, Bavarians (not to mention Austrians) etc. see themselves traditionally as different to Prussians (former and actual wannabes:)!

Na ja....the other brilliant idea is that Eastern Germany is alot more like Poland, Slovakia, Hungary etc....meaning not so much invested in wokism, multi-kulti, green/leftism and all that western flavour (meaning here mainly West-Germany, France, Britain)....40 years of living together in the Eastern-Bloc has left clear traces in the people and the land and that is not going away...

Once you can convince me Poland will be happy about millions of muslims from North Africa...Syria...Afghanistan etc...will still be glad about them, wanting to support them even after countless rapes and knife murders, blaming the Poles instead for their behaviour too...then maybe I will think we really are "wrong" and not rather NORMAL!

True....but german Greens have become sadly a left party first. And Germany never was a left country, our population is traditionally in their majority center/right. The moment they decided to sacrifice true environment protection on the altar of gender speech, very generous immigration policies, benefits for everybody even if that means going broke etc. they invited population-wide resistance which will end them and that is so not helping the environment.

The climate is not left or woke and gives a *** about humans! You don't save the environment with fighting the majority (the not left part) of the people, that is not rocket science!

Okay....yeah....that complicates the matter....

But reading that other thread one could think that law made by a gov which is otherwise sane and pragmatic and makes good policy and makes the trains run on time again and helps the economy etc. maybe people would not be so angry about these bottle caps....it's the source, in Germany it comes from a highly unpopular gov, a gov and a green party which nearly daily breaks another unpopularity-record!

Not really...I drink mostly coffee or water out of the tap....I never understood the reason for buying water in bottles when it runs freely out of the wall! (Okay, maybe not totally free:)

And juices and such in bottles are highly unhealthy (added sugar + fruit sugar etc.)...everybody and their grandmom should know that by now...but it's just the latest not-stroke-of-genius in a long line! It only serves to make people angry and surely won't save the climate!

These so called "environment protection laws" are to measure about what they achieve....most climate laws (not only in Germany) lead only to rising blood pressure in totally normal beings (meaning no anti-climate rightist nuts)....

There is a reason green parties are losing everywhere...to the detriment of real environment protection!

....even as most sane people will always say they prefer their environment green and healthy and would like to help....that is an "achievement" these green numbnuts will get their place in the history books for....not that they can be proud of it!

Not this gov.....they don't give a ***** about Germany.....there is a reason the economy sinks....businesses wander off to better shores....one of the countries with the highest taxes is going broke......the only one rising are the numbers of foreigners standing in queue for social benefits!

If Germany (the gov) would be a friend of Germany (the people) you would know it, Germany would look lotsa differently!

Who knows...maybe you really get the better immigrants....most we get are illegals anyhow who can barely read/write their own language, not to mention learning a new language and adapting to a highly developed, modern, industrialized society!

What we get are alot more knife murders on our streets and open executions in our train stations....not to mention peopler rallying and demanding the Kalifat in Germany....

True.....It's useless to hate these people....but it takes two to tango....the ones wanting to come in, and the other keeping the door wide open. That is something that will be changed. There is no majority anymore in any country for the old rules. Times have changed.


Oh there is....people come from everywhere to Germany....now look at a map....they are wandering through many totally safe countries, where they could settle down, but they still want to come to Germany, and that not because of our nice weather or our famous friendliness...no...they prefer Germany because it has become known that they can here expect the most money, the most state support, alot more than in other countries which "only" have to offer safety....and that is something our gov needs to adapt. If our current leftist gov doesn't want to, a more rightist gov definitely will do it!

It's easy and humane and will be super effective!
