Yeah....true too.....if Netanjahu were smart(er) he would try his hardest to build something out of the Westbank...for both sides. Abbas would keep further the Hamas fanatics in check and he would keep the orthodox radical Jews in check...showing that something more is possible....that would be a big middle finger to the nutters on all sides.

I find it interesting that in the Westbank, where the Fatah reigns, there is peace....and in Gaza, where the Hamas rules, there is war and destruction....and yes, there is only one winner, Iran!

I guess that Abbas risks his life saying all that, puttting the blame where it belongs....

But then...even Arafat has come a long way, from a blood dripping terrorist to the handshake with Rabin in Oslo in 1993.

Not selling your assets AND wanting independence from your lone supporter, who secures your survival, is not a viable political opinion with any future!

They need to have a master who pays for them....and/or re-start selling their ressources to pay for themselves, there is no other way, hence my dismissal.

So yeah....either the Greenlanders are that stupid or they are that short sighted....they have to have a "master"....if they no longer want Denmark, they will have to chose someone else....they can't survive on their own like this.

Greenlandic politicians have since 2019 repeatedly said they are interested in strengthening cooperation and trade with the United States.....

The thing seems to be that the few thousand Greenlanders want to become independent from Danmark, but without all that danish support they will need someone else to pay for them...they might want to join the US peacefully!

....While Greenlanders want independence, they are well aware of their economic reliance on Denmark. One option could be to form a so-called "free association" with the United States that would replace Danish subsidies with U.S. support and protection in return for military rights, similar to the status of Pacific island nations Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau.....

Definitely! Did they?

Trump has become two-times-president in big parts not despite but, IMHO, because of his loud personality....so, better get used to it and no worked up, moral panic everytime he utters something....or that will be long four years, very long!

Not to mention that alot of things the talks make alot sense....and should he really be able to end the war in Ukraine, well. That would be "a big finger" to all the smart, polite talking, academic **** who can only dream of stuff like this!
