The US can trade with Europe just as it trades with China.
Yeah as an inferior partner......
Nothing to do with military aid. Duh!
You could not easily trade with a Fascist or Communist Europe....DUH!
BTW, Europe makes nothing we can't buy from Asia or make ourselves.
Europe makes better quality goods than Asia and the USA can't make anything anymore that is cheaper than buying from Asia......even your beloved pick ups are mainly Asian! Drop your tailgate down and serve up a Chinese takeaway!
I did and to be fair, it is probably the best video you have posted to PF. However, some of the stats she quotes are not just questionable, but are outright lies! Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels and London are NOT over 50% populated by recent migrants from Africa and the Middle East! Besides her obvious lies, she was right though.
However, Polish cheese cake can't even hold a candle to New York cheese cake from Junior's!
Ok, you will say that I have never tried Cheese cake from Juniors. But I have tried many Cheese Cakes from across the world and as delicious as some of them were, Polish has always been the best!
The barking dogs are one of my pet hates of Poland(Pardon the unintended pun). Most Poles seem to have no idea about treating dogs well and training them. They are just a defence system for them and not really pets. I think it's disgraceful.
Why American military aid to Europe and Poland is important to America itself?
Because America needs Europe for trade.Simple. That was the main reason America joined WW1 and WW2..... late, but it took them a while to work it out.......
With all the "Pop and Rap Music" happening in Poland, people forget that Poland also has a very active and very good Prog Rock and Metal Scene going on too.
Probably Poland's greatest ever Prog Rock band..... Riverside....
I would class this as "Prog/Metal" and it is at least as good as any of the stuff coming out of the "Anglosphere".......
I'll end tonight with an oldie from 1979 (Communist times!)
.I somehow missed the flute in there but heard plenty of good Sax.
Words fail me!
Oh come on!The flute features at the very beginning of the song and at the end of it.For the rest of the song it is at best a tiny part of the song. The main player is the Sax towards the end. Funny how we all hear music differently.... :-)
We have it in Britain too, Sorrel, also used for soups,
My Polish parents used to grow it in the garden and it was added to soups, often with hard boiled eggs. My sister and I would go to the garden and eat it raw, because we loved the bitter, lemony taste!
but how many Polish Americans generations later still eat traditional meals?
Very few I suspect. The difference between Polish Americans and Anglo Poles is quite acute. Most Polish Americans are talking about great grandparents or even further back. Anglo Poles mainly came to the UK during or after WW2.So much more recent, even my kids had Polish grandparents!
