I am curious, as a suspended Russian Bot... Why is it ok, to discuss theological questions in Best Posters thread, but I get #cancelled for asking Poles about how they managed to get colonized by retards? It is the mystery of the Polish brain.

Ask one of your friends to explain to you, what an off topic thread is, and what an off topic post is. BTW as you seem to be using two usernames, which is against the forums rules, please let me know which username you want me to delete.

Lazarus, reading back over your posts, it seems you only post messages to belittle and bait. Is this your only purpose for joining PF? How about you start to post something about Poland for a change, and don't give everyone the impression that you are only here as a Troll?

Surely you must have something to say that's Polish related. What your opinion on the invasion of Ukraine, and the aid Poland is giving them, for example?

the musical value of the song is close to zero to me- it certainly isn`t a song I would like to listen to again. Just one of many.

Without the virtue signalling and sympathy votes, the winning song would be near the bottom of the poll in a normal year. Such a dreadful piece of "music" which, I hope never to hear again. Sorry if this offends some people, but I think there were better songs.

What does it have to do with slow internet?

Two things that you should try, first try a different browser to see if you get the same problem, and second, clear the cache on your phone to see if it makes a difference. The latter, you should do every couple of weeks anyway to make it run smoother.

My guess is, you have reached your maximum number of quotes for 2022, and Admin has sent an electronic pulse to your phone to zap you.

Seriously, though, do you close down all the pages in your browser very often?. I have found on my phone, that when I close my browser, pages can remain in memory or cache, and in turn slows down my internet, and makes some sites hard to navigate.

I don't take much notice of world rankings, they are based on points for wins and losses, and are there for FIFA to seed teams in competitions. It doesn't make teams play better.

This is the best England squad for a long time

I've heard this said before every single Euros and WC's in living memory :-)

Oh come on Vincent!
You don't get to the Euro finals and only lose on penalties if you are a rubbish team!

You didn't see the big picture. England had an easy route to the final and played 6 out of 7 games at home with fans, almost like being the host country. In the group stages they had 1-0 wins over weak teams, and against the Scots (arguably the weakest side in the group) they couldn't score at all.

Next up they played Germany, who many people will tell you had the worst side for many decades. Hell, they almost never made it out of the group stage, it was a late goal and results in their favour elsewhere, that got them through.

England beat Ukraine fair and square, but again not a European Power house team. The Denmark game was embarrassing, and many people thought the Danes were robbed. An og and a controversial penalty got England through to the final. In the final, England ran out of steam, and Italy took them to penalties, where 3 overrated players couldn't score from 12 yards. A poor show indeed, but there have been many poor shows and disappointments in the past, so nothing new to see here.

I'll ask you again, what have they won in the last 50 years.

Some teams (notably England?) have decided to follow the American trend of athletes kneeling rather than standing during the national anthem.

The UK teams still stand for the national anthem, and take the knee just before KO. They have been greeted with boos by a section of the crowd, while some other sections applaud them. You are correct it is in bad taste and is causing a division across the country. Politics should be kept out of sports.

"Nobody knows nothing" is colloquial language in the UK, so I guess the double negation wouldn't matter. "Nobody knows anything" is formal and correct.
