Careful there Skinny, are you saying that on my Private Profile Notice on 1-5-19 that I was not suspended for not using my Ignore Function ?

If you are going back to 4 years ago, then yes you were. However, that suspension was given by the owner of this site and not by me.

A couple of points. First, I haven't suspended you for not using your ignore function, and there would plenty of other reasons to do so than that. I'm guessing you could be in the early stages of Dementia, or had a little too much moonshine. There has been no warnings on your profile, to suggest 'you had a time-out', nor has there been a red sad emoji next to your username in this last couple of days.

Next, you have been listening to the self-proclaimed 'King of the internet' Cargo pants, who nearly always get things wrong. I wouldn't mind betting that I'm 25 kilos lighter than both of you, judging by your photos posted on these forums. I also don't have diabetes, which is another false piece of information posted by the Indian "troll king" of the internet. Have a nice day, slim Jim. :-)

The rules apply to everyone. It is our American members that are posting most of the off topic posts on the main threads, hence they receive the most warnings. Simple maths!

Don't mistake canned/censored with off topic posts. On the main threads, posts have to be on topic with the subject of the thread. Posts that are off topic will be removed to random chat, and furthermore, posts that reply to off topic posts (or quote off topic posts) will also be removed. If members don't want to see their posts removed, it is up to them to follow the forums rules.

Other forums could be playing a form of Russian roulette, and like to gamble. They might not get a complaint about the videos for years, and then one day someone takes offence, and drags them through the courtrooms. They could stand to lose a lot of money.

Besides, the videos on here are not deleted. It should not be a big issue to add www. to the link, open a new page and paste it into the address bar. It may also be a good idea to give a short description of the video when you post one, then other posters will know if it will be of interest to them.

FB are part of "Big Tech" and can do whatever they want, as money is no problem to them. To others, it is illegal to share anything that you didn't create without the permission of the owner.

Don't take my word for it, google it yourself.

I think that it means that I can call people - a jerk or a moron without mods butting in!

This forum is for people, new and old, to read and find out all things about Poland. How do you think it would look for new people, if every time they come here all they see is posters calling each other derogatory names? They probably wouldn't post anything or stay around for long.

Do you think that freedom of speech is the same as a free-for-all?

Off course, you are correct, it's not. Where does one draw the line? Soon it would turn to racism and hate speech. Like you said, it can't be a free for all, or the forums would look quite a bit like Stormfront. This site has also been more tolerant with members than most sites.

Food / Polish Salted Butter [68]

I buy Kerrygold in Poland for between 10 and 12 zl for a 200g pack.

Seems about the going price at the moment. I normally buy Kerrygold in ASDA for £2 per 250g. Not a big fan of salted butter, but Kerrygold (in my store anyway) has only 1.8g per 100g, so basically next to nothing. I don't think it's too expensive compared to some margarines, and others butters in those plastic tubs.

I'm not happy about Boris being stabbed in the back, (I thought he was OK) nor am I happy with the final two 'wanna be' PM's, but there is no way Starmer should be allowed to run the country. We will just have to wait and see if the new PM will make a difference in the next two years.

As do our national football team. Most people don't get worked up about that.

As above, many people like myself, haven't watched professional football for 2 seasons because of this.

What is a woman?, is a question that has a simple answer, and has been used for millennia. I'm afraid Starmer has shot himself in the foot.

Sorry jon, but Starmer is too woke. Working people won't forget how he took the knee for BLM, and how he tied himself up in knots when asked "what is a woman"? He is also on record as saying 'women can have a penis', and 'it's wrong to say that only women have a cervix'.

By trying to please a very small percentage, he has lost many votes from biological women, who account for half the population of the UK.

Most times in the EPL, the transfer fee is paid in instalments over several years. The player involved usually gets to pocket 10%, and his agent also gets a percentage. Getting a player on a free transfer might seem a bargain, but his wage demands will be high, unless he is getting near to the end of his career.

the musical value of the song is close to zero to me- it certainly isn`t a song I would like to listen to again. Just one of many.

Without the virtue signalling and sympathy votes, the winning song would be near the bottom of the poll in a normal year. Such a dreadful piece of "music" which, I hope never to hear again. Sorry if this offends some people, but I think there were better songs.
