Love / How do Polish men feel about gender equality? [780]

If it does, you're not my type anyway. :)

actually a very true statement. This is how I see it too. Besides, who says that the guys are here to choose someone or something, lol

I think it is princesses ;)

your luck, you see it as a joke what you just said :-)

and there is nothing wrong with being attractive and very smart at the same time

well, there's something wrong with it when we have to be attractive when you guys want us to be attractive. In my case, it doesn't really matter, I wouldn't listen to any guy to begin with. Just like Eurola said, either you like me the way I am or hit the road jack, lol

so it's ok for an employer to ask women to wear makeup or high heels

then again, no one really needs to ask Polish women to wear make up and high heels, they do it anyway.
They don't even go out of the house unless "dressed for success" :-) I bet the guys love it however it would be way to uncomfortable for me to do it all the time (not to even mention that wearing high heels is pretty unhealthy).

Me too but i hate racoons. I wouldn't shoot it though, well maybe a little.

we have a raccoon that comes everyday to our door and we feed him and then he plays with my cat (they're friends).

honey you don't want me in the kitchen, i'll set things on fire, break a few dishes, make a huge mess.

OK, how about just helping your wife to serve your guests? (this is what I meant).

shoot a raccoon outside

I'm your guy. :)

if you shoot any animal, you wouldn't be my guy, I love animals.

you need to look for an intelligent person that you can reason with as a life partner.

of course, it's all about making choices. What I meant about bossy is that anytime we went to visit our Polish friends, the husband always kept us company while his wife was running her butt off between the kitchen, fixing meals and the living room, serving. I've never experienced any guy helping his wife in the kitchen.

I mean, Polish guys are kinda bossy (my experience in Poland) but this can't be what majority of them think about women and if it is, then there's no wonder why so many Polish women are marrying foreigners.

Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

He does speak English and he disrespects Teachers

he probably disrespects his parents too. Some traditional butt whipping and the problem is solved. Unfortunitely our messed up laws don't allow it. (I'm not talking about beating up, just a little spanking).

Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

Here is an example of rudeness, I tell him to stop kindly and he doesn't listen. Also, he talks back to teachers.

OK, we both know that this is not really a Polish phenomenon. This situation, however annoying as hell, can happen just about anywhere. I'm not trying to defend anyone here, it's just the way it is.

Do you think that Polish people are rude?

The question should be, who's rude where? Due to the cultural differences, every nation will be considered rude somewhere else (in another country).

Life / Do you think that Polish people are rude? [951]

Would you

I'm not talking about Polisharerude or anyone else here but you know and I know that due to the cultural differences, sometimes Polish (or European) people come across rude while in the states. Especially here in the South were people are extremely polite, anyone who behaves or reacts differently than us, might be or is often considered rude. The same type of behavior is widely accepted or at least tolerated in Europe.

UK, Ireland / Brits say being drunk senseless while visiting Poland is national trait [98]

oh, the little Cali fag is back with his insults. You should work to accept the existence of women in this world and be less hateful toward us.

As far as the "kiosk" drunks, all Poles here will confirm that I'm telling the truth. I'm not judging, I'm describing the situation in Poland and suggesting what needs to be changed, that's all.

Life / Are foreigners welcome in Poland? [275]

Stop.

For a start, they're probably not Polish, but rather "Polack" - a breed of American that claims to have Polish roots, yet knows nothing about real Polish culture in the year 2011. These people have next to nothing in common with Polish people.

STOP DD !!! (lol)

It happened to him while visiting Poland.

I'm struggling to understand why you hung around for 20 minutes after breaking someone's face? I'd be straight out of there, especially as a foreigner - what's the point in potentially having hassle with the police if you've already ****** his face up?

well, he reacted differently than you would in that situation but it really doesn't prove him lying here.

Brits say being drunk senseless while visiting Poland is national trait

OK, forget for a minute about the Brits, just be realistic about the impression any foreigner gets when he visits Poland (I've mentioned it many times on this forum) when he sees those drunks (all day long) at the "kiosks". I definitely don't say it to humiliate you guys, you know I'm telling the truth. You have to work on it. This is not cool, it ruins your reputation and makes your visitors forget all the good things that Poland has to offer.

Report it to the cops and let them take care of it but don't let it ruin your experience.

OK PP, now you're fantasizing here a "little". You can't tell me (if you'll be honest with me) that if that happened to you, you'd just report it and then forget it right away? It doesn't work that way and you know it. It takes time. Of course, from case to case it's different but I'm sure that no one can just get it out of his mind easily.

There's racists like that where I live, they are everywhere.

I said it too (somewhere above in this thread).

You have to put these negative experiences behind you and focus on the positive ones. Otherwise you will stay bitter and never have any fun.

you can't just switch it off like that but I'm sure Alex will get over it one day.

Because he says he likes America and doesn't need to live in Europe and grubas was offended by this so he got defensive.

OK guys but don't you understand that Alex is most likely bitter after what has happened to him and his wife? Jeez, I bet most of us would be peed off too.

If you don't like Poland stay the f u c k out.

he didn't say, he doesn't like Poland and it's bad what happened to him and his wife. Of course it could happen in any other country too.

USA, Canada / Grace Pianka case - Injustice to Polish Citizen [66]

you don't need facts to issue an opinion.

and that's why I ask you guys a clear question, did I?
One more time, especially for you,

Did she kill her husband?

Can you tell for sure that she didn't?
I'm asking questions to get information from you as I didn't feel like reading the whole thing.

Grace Pianka case - Injustice to Polish Citizen

I only read parts of it but I'd like to ask you a question. Did she kill her husband? Of what I read, I come to the conclusion that she did and if she did, what is this whole fuss about?
