What kind of simpleton NPC likes EVERYTHING about the place they live?

Do I have to listen to it? Write it down and send it to Albuquerque.

Life / Poland is horrible and I have to live here - somebody call a whambulance! [95]

Dude, you don't know me, hold your wild horses a bit :)))

You think that nationalism is bad, yet you hate on foreign people in Poland, any chance you get. lol!
You are going in circles. Hey, don't forget he is a male. I bet he is oppressing women. Go after this as well.

. Top hats and umbrellas - is your view of the UK based on a PRL

Hey, don't you have top hats and umbrellas in Lodonstan?

I come from a city that makes Warsaw look like a mud hut village.

Where have I stated that this is about you? I clearly indicated that it is not about you. However, you must admit that this could be a story shared by many English teachers who have moved abroad.

Most Poles go into a panic when they come to my city,

Imagine seeing rats walking on the sidewalks with top hats and umbrellas. Anyone would be taken aback.

he's just a generalising, exaggerating, unfair, hysterical, trolling a$$hole -

It is a coping mechanism; it reflects how the minds of villagers deal with the alien realities of living in a different country.

I don't know about him, but many British people come from small villages like Trent on Stick, where they have lived their entire lives. The people they associate with are those they have known since kindergarten, and they rarely travel more than 70 kilometers for work or education. For such a person, being in another country can lead to intense panic.

You clearly hate Poland

I don't see it. I don't see him hating Poland. Even if he does, as long as he obeys the law and does not riot with a Mexican, sorry, British flag, I don't care.
Hey, don't you call me a nationalist, and aren't you a proud liberal? What's going on here?
---
That, and the cosmopolitan vibe :)

The cosmopolitan vibe is often appreciated by those who visit, but it has been negatively impacted by globalization. Now, when you go to any city, you'll encounter a chaotic mix of cultures that some may label as cosmopolitan, but what it really reflects is the effect of illegal migration. To genuinely experience a cosmopolitan atmosphere, you typically need significant financial resources, similar to someone like Jeff Bezos.

News / Poland to introduce border controls with Germany and Lithuania [89]

Especially when Poland stops pushing their illegals over the german border

The exact opposite is happening now. I knew it. You remember that I was talking about this long before it actually happened. My criticisms of Germany aren't based on an anti-German phobia; it's the reality of some Germans behaving poorly.

Additionally, Germany is violating EU law regarding open borders. Why isn't there an outcry in Brussels about this, along with multiple complaints and resolutions? It's because we are dealing with the German-led EU, just as I predicted.
I'm a realist, while you are a dreamer, my friend. Regarding the decision, yes, it was a necessary course of action that should have been taken long ago. I hope the Tusk government will implement it, but so far they have misled the public, as Tusk seems to be aligned with German interests. Let's see if he dares to lie about it again. He had to announce it because people began to react strongly, which included citizen border patrols

Perhaps you mistakenly thought I meant all Poles in that comment.

Who cares? Feel free to do it. After all, it is common knowledge that due to the isolated location, Britons are inbred.

it's incredibly entitled

Being alive is a privilege, and you should appreciate every breath of oxygen you take. Do you ever express gratitude to the countless plants that tirelessly produce the oxygen you so carelessly use? If not, you come across as a rather ungrateful person.

Have your islanders not moved past World War II and the rationing that followed?

Must of hit a nerve

I'm uncertain about the situation. Paulina is our resident person who often voices her concerns; she tends to argue persistently and identifies as a feminist. Despite this, she has a good heart (maybe) and has only traveled outside of Poland for holidays. As a result, her interactions with people from other countries have been limited to experiences in Poland or through social media.

Warsaw people in public are mostly rude

Isn't that true for most larger cities? In my experience, residents of big cities often become indifferent to their fellow human beings because they feel overwhelmed by crowds. If that's the case, you'll need to accept it because they are unlikely to change for you. Tada!

If you are new here, not a returning old member, we have two Germans and one idiot living in Germany. Mr. G is neither of those individuals.

No, you are still young and Polish, and you are passionate about things people say or write.

I take what I need from forums and ignore the rest. His trolling is harmless.

This is nothing short of trolling

What's your problem? At least he is trying to be creative. Of his 150-something posts, only one has been original. It was good enough to make me laugh, and that is something.

You are overreacting without reason. You cannot predict what would have happened. Nonetheless, the recommended course of action would have been correct under the circumstances.

Together with us, we can be unstoppable.

We had been together after World War II. You still lost the Cold War, and it was not great for Poland either.

Oh, for crying out loud, Iron...

What is it that you don't like? Is it political thinking? I know you prefer pleasant-sounding stories.

The correct choice was not to ally with Germany, but to come to the Kremlin on your knees

You are presuming that the war would have concluded similarly.

most commonsensical thing to do.

Not really, that is where they went wrong. Given a proper assessment of their circumstances, the correct decision would be to stick with Germany for the time being.

Soviets can't be trusted.

Sometimes it's better to lose when other alternatives are below our dignity.

We are discussing politics, not an afternoon at the country club. I assert that Poles have lost their ability to comprehend geopolitics and the unspoken rules of politics. It's no surprise that they are not taken seriously.

The result was a strategic catastrophe:

Given the knowledge they possessed at the time, the curse of actions was clear: joining Germany as a junior partner. Germany proposed an alliance after all.

It seems you have no idea what free speech entails

Oh really? You, as a heretic, enjoy being controlled by your rulers through your church, while they claim to have liberated you from Papal oppression. That's amusing! Historically, this was true. Currently, your community is filled with heathens, and Islam is on the rise.
you really feel about foreigners

Poles generally have a welcoming attitude toward foreigners.

Did I say they all stink? Or just menels?

No, it was very good. I don't know if it accurately describes reality or is just a poetic license. A fact remains that I had a good laugh reading your post, and that is all that matters to me.

actually menels don't drink a lot - their cirrosis afflicted livers

Wow, did you actually catch one and conduct a detailed study that included vivisection? That's really disturbing!

Only a total nut would switch from the world's best language - American - to the worst, which is Polish...

If you put it that way, your narrow view is incorrect. In his case, he acquired a new skill: the ability to communicate in languages other than his own.
It would be best if you worked on your English skills. Based on your posts, your pride in learning English seems unwarranted.

I've shown you examples of how Poles talk about the British, en masse, on social media

Poles also express dissatisfaction with their own country. It is their God-given right to question everything and everyone, much like Americans do. If you choose to fully trust your authorities and only complain quietly when you disagree, or if you resort to rioting without considering other options, that's your prerogative.

I have one piece of advice for you: avoid those entirely. Problem solved.
It all started with a craving for the taste of British bacon. Jon, please bring some bacon for this guy!

Man, you had it all bottled up. Welcome to Poland; you can express your hatred freely here. How do you like the taste of freedom?

These are just f*cking facts.

These are your feelings, but they distort the facts. The facts are as follows: Many Poles have settled in Britain, where a market economy exists that allows them to spend money on products and services that meet their needs. Therefore, there is no reason for them to feel grateful. Unless, of course, one expects gratitude for the ability to shop freely for whatever they choose.
--
with their near-perpetual complaining about a country

I think you might be overthinking things. Most people there don't complain. However, a few Britons living in Poland tend to voice their frustrations frequently. It's a reality check for you. Even those who have lived in Poland for decades still complain about it from time to time. It's not a big deal; they always come back like a bad penny! Lol!

Ask yourself if even the Ukrainians,

It's interesting to note how the British flooded social media with complaints about the influx of Eastern Europeans, particularly Poles. While they attempted to avoid sounding nationalistic, it was clear they were talking negatively about these individuals. They seemed to get quite hysterical over certain issues involving Poles.
Jon made many excuses for them, saying, "Just wait until you have a large influx of foreigners." It seems that now, because Poles are more open, tolerant, and welcoming than the British, there's a tendency to backpedal and praise Ukrainians as a model for immigrants. Really? If they are such paragons of virtue, why don't you take them all in?

In my opinion, the attitude towards immigrants may differ between Poles and Ukrainians because Poles moved to Britain as EU citizens, while Ukrainians came as either economic migrants or refugees. This distinction plays a role in the subconscious views of these groups.

I believe the underlying issues between the British and the Poles stem from a sense of superiority. Britons often believe they are superior to Poles, while Poles may feel equally superior-or at least, equal-to Britons.
The US is vastly superior to Britain in one regard: freedom of speech. In the US, anyone can express their hatred for anyone else they choose. However, this constant expression of hate online can be exhausting. As a result, many Americans display kindness and warmth in real life, despite their online behavior.

In contrast, Brits tend to keep their negative feelings to themselves. This repression often results in lingering bad vibes and passive-aggressive remarks that they believe foreigners won't understand.
----

By the way, there are many undocumented Britons in the US, some of whom work in bars looking for shady individuals( shmodacks) to marry for a green card. Some of them are nice girls, and I feel sorry for them because not all will have a positive outcome.
