Life / The Best Things About Poland [65]

Poland has its strengths; homogeneity is not especially either a strength or particularly accurate.

I understand that you believe diversity is a strength. Therefore, you should be ashamed that Britain hasn't even reached 40% diversity.

News / Poland to introduce border controls with Germany and Lithuania [89]

Well....we will hear THAT often in the next time!

Do you know why I'm emphasizing this issue? Over the past few years, Poland has frequently encountered this situation, and there have been financial penalties to pay. However, now that the German government is openly disregarding EU law, I haven't heard of any penalties or threats from Brussels directed at Germany. This really supports my point.

As you know, I believe that many of these laws are questionable, particularly the green policies. I think Poland should completely discard them since EU law does not treat all member states equally.

News / Poland to introduce border controls with Germany and Lithuania [89]

Nah....these border controls are purely and only on the german side....that has nothing to do with polish legitimacy!

Is that not clear enough? It i against the EU law. Also, it was supposed to be temporary this was the Germans' excuse, but it has been going on for long enough to be permanent.
Now that the Tusk government announced that Poland will establish checkpoints on the Polish side of the border, it seems the Germans have an issue with it.

By the way, the German government wants to sort out their problem by shifting it onto Poland and whoever is stupid enough to take those people and does not ask questions.
The Tusk government's support has dramatically gone down after that issue became known to the Polish public.
Hence his desperate announcements.

That means even less.

It means you have no sense of humor; bring some bacon for your starving countryman.

What is that even supposed to mean?

Britain needs to take in 40% of diverse ethnicities to reach Poland's pre-war levels of diversity. I know you might not understand; it's a joke, but progressives probably won't find it funny

News / Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 23 [663]

While other countries are more reluctant to do the same

I would support cooperation with Ukraine based on the exchange of technology, know-how, and practical solutions for effective collaboration. My opposition arises from the idea of throwing money at the problem mindlessly, as that wastes Poland's resources and does not yield desirable results.

Poles are remarkably homogenous. Pole's idea of a mixed ethnicity:

That is only a recent phenomenon. Such homogeneity, which has been noted many times, is nothing unusual in Europe. Take Sweden, for instance, until recently, or Iceland, Austria, or even Germany before 2000. Mass migration has changed the picture somewhat, but most European countries, including England, have been and still are, for the most part, quite homogeneous.

Why is Poland's homogeneity a recent development? It dates back to 1945 when large masses of people were forcibly transferred in various directions, along with the major border shifts that followed, leading to the Poland we know today. Historically, Poland was much more diverse than many other countries in Europe for a long time. Before the war, only 60% of the citizens in Poland identified as Polish.

So, you still have a long way to go before reaching 60% of the British compared to all the others.

Law / Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns? [1068]

So you're in favour of 'curing' people with illnesses and disabilities by murdering them?

I missed your progressive rhetoric. I'm in favor of the death penalty for people who commit murder, regardless of any health issues they may have.

Law / Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns? [1068]

Some guy shoots up Zabka because he's been waiting 20mins

Natural selection is good, assuming he wouldn't receive two years in prison due to Brussels' influence on the law. Hanging would resolve issues with such individuals; if they are mentally ill, a rope would cure them.

Law / Gun control in Poland: should Polish people be allowed to own guns? [1068]

What is the fear of allowing Polish citizens to legally own guns?

The communists brainwashed people in Poland during 40 years of Soviet domination. They had an incentive to instill a fear of firearms because they were concerned that the oppressed Polish population might use guns for resistance or self-defense. Meanwhile, members of the communist party had easy access to firearms.

Although the communist system has ended, the effects of that brainwashing still linger today. Many people in Poland are unaware of the American gun system and the issues surrounding firearms in the United States. They often only see news reports about shootings and mistakenly believe that anyone can simply walk into a store and buy guns like they would buy candy.

News / Poland's aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 23 [663]

There is no such thing as Russia,

Feast your eyes on the nonexistent. If you want to argue that Russia has no claim to Ukraine-historical or otherwise-don't waste your time. We know it, they know it, and everybody knows it.

It doesn't matter whether it's a question of right or wrong; it's about claims, pretext, and imperial ambition.

They assert their rights and claims because they grant them to themselves. It's that simple.

The only language you can use to communicate with Russians is the language of power; anything else is seen as mere whispers or noise.

I am shocked and embarrassed..

Only because you don't know the first thing about religion.
The Pope is free to express his views, but there is no obligation to listen to him unless he speaks on matters of doctrine ex cathedra; in those cases, everyone is expected to comply.

was given away by Lenin to

Your belief that something given can be taken away on a whim is rooted in the fact that your civilization lacks a sense of private property and unalienable rights. It probably wouldn't shock you to learn that your government could take away your apartment.

Some skinheads left in Poland or will the Old Guard have to put on their bomber jackets and heavy boots again.

I would advise against such actions, as they could be used as a pretext for the government to suppress the opposition and would undoubtedly be exaggerated by their propaganda. Tusk's harmful policies and Germany's audacity will lead even those who are simply trying to go about their lives to cry out for order when faced with issues, such as wild individuals causing theft or worse.

Removing this traitorous and incompetent government should be a top priority.

UK, Ireland / Polish immigrants in the UK - victims or criminals?! [283]

are pretty anti-immigrant and I'm an immigrant.

Konfederacja is against uncontrolled mass immigration, but not against immigration itself. Considering you come from the UK, you are relatively progressive; there are no right-wing parties anymore in the UK.

Do you have any comments about the state of our western border, considering your support for Tusk?

I come from a city that makes Warsaw look like a mud hut village.

Where have I stated that this is about you? I clearly indicated that it is not about you. However, you must admit that this could be a story shared by many English teachers who have moved abroad.

Most Poles go into a panic when they come to my city,

Imagine seeing rats walking on the sidewalks with top hats and umbrellas. Anyone would be taken aback.

he's just a generalising, exaggerating, unfair, hysterical, trolling a$$hole -

It is a coping mechanism; it reflects how the minds of villagers deal with the alien realities of living in a different country.

I don't know about him, but many British people come from small villages like Trent on Stick, where they have lived their entire lives. The people they associate with are those they have known since kindergarten, and they rarely travel more than 70 kilometers for work or education. For such a person, being in another country can lead to intense panic.
