If my task was to write the stupidest thing on the subject of the Warsaw Uprising, I would write this:

To prevent the Red Army from occupying more of Germany and to make sure Germans who just killed 17% of Poland's population felt better when the war was over, it was good and proper to pull off a suicidal stunt in Warsaw in August 1944 that led to the death of 200,000 Poles and the city in ruins.

The short version of the above: I should die now so Germans are happier later.
