Not keen on that either Milo. Just English mustard for me. I remember trying an awful tasting mustard labelled 'French' that came in a glass jar as a child and I haven't actually tried Polish mustard...yet.

I've always found Polish horseradish sauce to be stronger. I prefer it to the English stuff which tends to be too creamy.

Mustard wise I only really like Colman's English mustard. Most other mustards, regardless of country of origin, tend to be too bland. At least the ones I've tried.

I wear them in the house. I have a leather pair I bought in Poland for the summer and I I have sheepskin boot type slippers for winter. My feet are often freezing cold :(

That's a lovely poem and I can definitely relate to it.


Parts of it are very wild and almost desolate. You can walk for miles without seeing anyone. There are lots of rivers and Dartmoor is rarely dry. It rains a lot too which is why it's so green. There are many bogs and mires so you definitely need a map and compass to get about. It has woods, forests, valleys, Bronze Age stone circles, over 160 granite tors dating back 280 million years, and of course, a prison!
