do you really think they would give a fyck about the environment of the Baltic Sea???

Yes, I would pray they would see this as a # one priority. If they didn't the USA has many watch groups that would be screaming. All the money in the world won't mean a thing if we kill ourselves off.

When you look at this close it's more Germany vs. being Russia that could be hurt. And truthfully I never even heard of this disposal until today. I need to read more of the whole risk to the sea before taking a stance. I do feel the way the earth changes with global warming, today's sea could be next weeks land and this consideration should be held into account. Just think Bratwrust I may be melted to your house for coffee next year.

This is so true. What is needed is oversight for the sea. I can't believe not one permit has been pulled. When we look at the location of work it's not like citizens can see wrong doing and stop them. The sad part is damage can be done without the workers even knowing they are doing it. What may seem harmless can really be killing off full species.

We have groundhog day in USA if he see's his shadow it will be an early spring.We just had it on Feb. 2 and he saw his shadow, yippy early sping. If he doesn't, six more weeks of winter. Hey Do you have groundhogs?

But as I said before you just have to follow the money.

If you knew anything you would be aware of the aggreement from Poland to settle with the land owners. This was decided in 1945 and all countries have put money toward this. If it was up to me compensation would not come from Ukraine but the real country responsable, Russia. With that out of the way.

It is my roots to Ukraine that I see need for dealing with this past. It would serve to bring a trust and respect into the relationship.

Yes this is so true. It is like Russia now saying the Germans were responsable for "Katyn". The more they do this the worse they look. Poland has been abused by so many and silenced into not speaking the truth. I on the other hand know the truth and can stand up for the victims.

Ukraine relationships should be built on honesty, trust, respect. They are closer than many believe. A solid foundation vs. continued false history. What gets me is everyone knows the truth and not saying it makes the relationship false. Why not just deal with it so the future can have this trust?

How is it connected to your hatred towards Ukrainians.

I never said I hated anyone. My family lived in eastern Poland. Wolyn was where our home was located. In fact we had Ukraine's and Jewish living on our estate. My grandfather taught men and boys to read and write. I have documents that it was the Ukraine family that saved my grandfather from being shot vs. going to Siberia.

This does not make what took place 1942 OK. It was not OK and although Ukraine said they would say sorry, they have yet to do this.

Their hatred comes from their inability to prosper or live a good life in the present time.

I am all set in my life. What drive me is what happened to my family. Did they deserve to die? Seems to me it is not I that protects the wallet? Stop pretending if you insult loud enough we will forget our loved ones.

Be careful because Poles in Poland can kill you for that kind of ideas.

This lady's family was sent to Siberia and you do not hear a word from her about a genocide done by Russians.

I think if you read you will find a few comments. Maybe I will come just to pay respect to my families graves.

it should not be forgotten, but living in the present is more valuable and it doesn;t mean that you have.

This is the main point"it should not be forgotten". We shall have a parade stopped if it glorify's members that are not held accountable. I think this was very hurtful. When Ukraine steps up and holds accountable the ones that did this the whole group will not be tainted, until then it is simply wrong.

Ukrainin barbarians is not hatered.

I guess when they did this they were not thinking of being seen for there actions. They were the worst war crimes of the times yet they were given a free ride and never stood trial.

There are as many patriots as there are people.

Yes you could say as many victims as there are guilty of killings. My family was in Siberia, this does not exsuse what took place.

Aggreed, most of Polands military were exiled or killed when communist Poland came into play.

but Poles want to be Ukrainin friends for obvious reasons, Russia is one of them.

I don't like the word "hate" I think respect is better. As I see it, Germany did a lot of harm to Poland and did not deny or try to blame Russia. On the other hand Russia continues to pour salt on open wounds. I do not respect Russia and feel they are heartless.

So if we are using "respect", I have no respect for Russia at this point in time.

As for Ukraine???
