Travel / Is it safe to ride motorcycles in Poland? Traffic laws. [12]
As above, we have hard winters in Poland, with lots of snow and ice. Temps in our area have been down to minus 10 in the day and minus 20 overnight for ten days, though it's now above zero again. Roads here are not especially well maintained, so there are lots of little potholes and such, making roads bumpy for the best of cars, never mind motorbikes. Generally, you must keep your wits about you - concentrate - as there are sudden reductions in the speed limit, poor drivers and left turns from what you might think is the "overtaking" lane.
But loads of people ride scooters and bikes, quads too.
