Yes....don,t hang about , the sooner you get treatment for a bite by an infected tick , the better the chance of avoiding long term and possibly permanant illness that can really screw up your life...

I got bitten by one of these little bloodsuckers last year , but thankfully not an infected one...

They are usually pale green in colour , about one in four of them carry the virus...

If you go into the forest areas you need to check your body to make sure you don,t have any on you , then remove them carefully without leaving the head part in you...putting surgical spirit on the tick , or Vodka if you have nothing else will make the tick release its grip...

Then you need to keep an eye on the bite mark and look out for the bulls eye type red markings around the bite area that will show you have been bitten by an infected tick...

When full of blood they look like a small pea with a cluster of legs and biting bits on one side... you are safe enough if you remove the tick while its still feeding , its when its finished feeding it pumps the white cells back into you , and possibly the virus also...

You don,t feel the thing biting you , so its important to check your body for these things after being in long grass or bushes... These ticks are actually deer ticks , but they will be happy to bite cats , people or dogs .... nasty little critters...

Yes joking aside , i agree with you....

The roads in Poland are far from perfect , but having driven in Russia , Ukraine and Belarus i have to say they are pretty good....

My friends from Denmark who are visiting Poland on Motorcycles were a little bit shocked at the state of Polish roads , but they will get used to it soon enough....

Driving from my home in Pomerania all the way to Kiev i found pretty good roads all the way....untill i got to Ukraine...now there is a good example of bad roads.....!

One of the things that amuses me is the way they will take something from the fridge , smell it , and then pass it to anyone else nearby for them to smell also...

It would be great to see Poland produce a car that can compete with the rest of the world , especially Japan , but it won,t happen soon...

The USA and UK struggle to compete , and they have had a great automotive industry a lot longer than Poland....

Electric power is all very well , and good for the environment , but whizzing down the road on my Harley with only the sound of an electric motor...? nah , i would rather walk...

I love the sound of a Harley with open pipes , and the rumble of V8 car engines , i hope i am dead before those sounds are gone forever....

The reason the Polish car looks like a Lambo is because it was designed to be aerodynamic , so not suprisingly looks very similar to another car that was also designed to be a good shape...

All cars created in a wind tunnel are going to look pretty similar...

There is some Polish food that is wonderfull , some i would not eat with a gun to my head...

Mainly , the stuff i won,t eat in Poland , is the stuff i would not eat back home in the UK...

Here in Poland i eat mushrooms and tomatoes , never ever touched em back in the UK , so Polish food must be better i guess , more natural , and less water and chemicals...
