For Christian Americans, this lie is pushed down their throats: Jews are God's 'chosen' and we must love them...Complete lie, as this is stated nowhere in Bible, although Jew rabbis perpetuate this to the clueless...Jews are the enemies of Christ, as they hate and mock Him...Yet, this is preached from pulpits, including Roman Catholic church.

But, this will be ending in the future, and it will be messy, and we will hear Jewish cries of 'Pogroms, blah, blah'...A shame for the majority of reasonable Jewish people...When Jews have power, the result is always chaos because they are never satisfied.


Today's Jewish wet dream is Eretz Yisrael from Nile to Euphrates, plus regeneration of Khazar Empire in Southern Russia...Neither will come to be.

I think there is hope, because the 'average' Israeli or American or Pole, whatever, just want to live their lives, and not have the fear mongers or profiteers keep dredging up events from the past.

Why I say this?

I saw an excellent video from some independent web service done in Israel while the Egyptian unrest was going on...It was about 20 minutes in length, and they interviewed various Israelis: office workers, students, shop keepers about their feelings about what was happening in Egypt...About 85% of the Israelis in the video expressed admiration for the Egyptian people and expressed the opinion that a 'revolution' or demonstrations of this type were needed in Israel, because their government was so corrupt; run by a handful of control freaks who thrived on causing conflict.

I also liked the comments in the film by the Brooklyn rabbi who, in reference to Foxman & the ADL, said he didn't trust anyone who made their living by looking under every rug for 'hate'...He then commented that he was certain he would be placed on an ADL 'blacklist' for expressing these views...He was joking, but he was serious, too.

If a non-Jew made this film, he would automatically be labeled a 'Jew hater', when, in fact all the film tried to do was be reasonable about the matter, and show the irony involved.

This, I don't know about...From different little 'bios' I have read about him, it is said that a Polish family protected him...What their motivation was, I cannot speculate on, because I don't know...Is there a possibility they did it because they were good people?

Now, Foxman, who is a very rich man, goes into a tirade in the film where he says that the purpose of the Nazis and their 'collaborators' (Poles?) was to 'steal Jews money'...And right before this, Foxman says how everyone thinks the Jews are 'money masters'.

You would have to speak with Foxman to clarify the issue...But, it comes to mind that in the economic chaos and poverty of WWII, money would still be needed for survival, perhaps more than ever...Perhaps Foxman thinks that Jews should have been 'protected' without any monetary cost to them...Morally, he might be right, but in the midst of war, survival costs money.

Brathanki are quite good, and maintain the Slavic flavor even with a pop gloss...Very good interplay with guitar, flute & violins, and their vocalists are good singers and cute...

Ciechowski is also quite talented...I will have to check out his material, as he seems to have had quite a prolific career.

It was a treat to hear some modernized Slavic music that leans to pop, yet maintains Slavonic roots and musical signature...The Irish have been quite good at recycling traditional forms into a a more modern hybrid.

The Chopin music I have heard is very ornate and flowery, with a lot of chromaticism. This can make the music sound overly busy.

Stravinsky said that music, of itself, does not imply any specific emotion. It is an abstract.

Therefore, it could be stretch to attribute to music a description of a particular historical period,
or rage, or despair.

I don't completely agree with Stravinsky, as certain musical devices can evoke emotions, feelings...I know this as a player and a composer.

These pieces of Chopin's have very specific titles referring to certain historical events...I would have to listen to them closely.

Sometimes critics can get carried away with their own imaginations.

Interesting topic however...I think that certain sounds, rhythm and inflection can paint a you a mental picture of certain times and places, but you need some kind of reference point...The feeling conveyed is the important thing.
