Law / Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun? [918]

whether you prefer to live in a place with a high murder rate or a place with a low murder rate.

I choose to live in a town with a lower murder rate then what the country of Poland has.

Your profile here says that you live in "Miami Florida".

Another lie Har, better you go look again.

Where do you come up with this stuff Har ?
Poland has a higher murder rate then the town I live in which was my point and you unfortunately can not prove otherwise no matter how clever you think you are..

In Poland we have the freedom to not worry about being shot,

I would rather be shot then stabbed in the ear with a knife like Daniel was.
I guess it boils down to the weapon of your choice.

he claims

Perhaps you would like to substantiate YOUR CLAIM otherwise.
Such remarks are just another of your skillfully sow innuendo steeped in exaggeration (lie) Har.
This is why the world is in the mess it is because of people like you.

Endless numbers of Polish people have told me the same thing, "Don't ever let them take your guns because you will never get them back".

My personal prediction is that in the next generation or two in Poland the people will be arming themselves with guns of some kind.

The reason for mass gun deaths in the US is lax gun laws.

Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the United States and the highest numbers of murders with guns.
Perhaps you would like to explain that for us.

people can obtain legal guns and then go nuts

People can obtain legal cars and trucks and go nuts.
What you Eurps don't understand is that MOST of these gun murders happen in just FIVE Democratic Liberal Sanction Cities in the United States.

The town I live in no doubt has a lower murder rate then the country of Poland does.

Language / Harmless old-fashioned Polish swear words/phrases [159]

I know that my Polish elders had no problem saying G.D. this or J.C. that as they walked down the steps of the Catholic church right after mass.

I cured most of them when they did it by asking them if that was the same Jesus that died for them on the Cross.

There is nothing harmless about those words being used for swear words if you believe in the Ten Commandments.

Guns only kill.

Thank goodness for that or the bad guy may kill many more innocent before someone shoots him.

Democracy is the rule of majority.

This is why it is so important for us Yanks try to educate you Poles that have been brainwashed that guns are bad.
Police don't carry guns to protect you, they carry them to protect themselves.
Why shouldn't civilians have the same freedoms for self defense when there ain't no policeman around at the moment ?

and other than that no uses except killing people.

In self defense, kill or be killed.
Just think if poor "Daniel" would have had one when he was out numbered three to one with men with knives that had intent to kill him.

The three men with knives might have given second thought before they took chase knowing "Daniel" might have a gun.

Poland will soon be following in the footsteps of the Chezch's by popular demand.

A couple of months ago, Czech President Milos Zeman made an unusual request: He urged citizens to arm themselves against a possible "super-Holocaust" carried out by Muslim terrorists.

Never mind that there are fewer than 4,000 Muslims in this country of 10 million people.........gun purchases spiked.
One shop owner in East Bohemia, a region in the northern center of the Czech Republic, told a local paper that people were scared of a "wave of Islamists."

Now the country's interior ministry is pushing a constitutional change that would let citizens use guns against terrorists.
Proponents say this could save lives if an attack occurs and police are delayed or unable to make their way to the scene.

Guns are weapons.

Not necessarily as trucks could be used as a weapon too.
One more time now, People kill people, not guns or trucks. (sigh)

Those are low caliber carabines

A low caliber carbine is very capable of killing a person or animal so that point is moot also.

I'm as far right winged

Somehow I think that impresses you.

Guns are designed as a weapon to kill things. That's it.

A statement like that shows your liberal brainwashing.
Another thing guns are used for is sport competition like in the Olympics.

Now please tell me how trucks are designed to kill

I already answered that question but by the way you are flaming it is obvious that you have your young bias mind made up.
One more time just for you my Polish friend.

Trucks don't kill people, people kill people.

Law / Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun? [918]

the guy hijcked the truck using a gun.

And if the truck driver was allowed the privilege to carry one he and the people that got run over may still be alive.
At least he would have had a fighting chance.

Guns have two uses -

Really ? I can think of a least a half dozen.
Self defense, hobby collecting, target practice for sport, killing people that want to kill you, killing animals to eat (you have to kill them to eat them and shooting them for an instant death is most human), family heirlooms (grandfathers), predator control, exercise your Constitutional Right (in country's that you have those freedoms and rights) and lastly to pis s off Sissy Liberal Gun Grabbers that want to tell you that because they don't want to own a gun then you can't own one either. :-)

Thanks to gun control laws that would be much harder than you think -

Gee, I wonder where the terrorists get their AK-47 assault rifles from in the EU if that was true.

they can put that in their next manifesto.

Unless they get shot by a criminal or terrorist first.
Which brings us back to, "If you choose not to own a gun then don't but please don't tell me because you choose not to have one then I should be allowed to have one either." (Liberal Logic)

You have been brainwashed to be scared of guns well I don't like dogs because they bite people therefore you shouldn't have the freedom to own a dog because I choose not to own a dog.

I hope you can see how silly your Liberal political correctness is.

Poor Har with more laughable lies.
I wonder why he won't tell us how many Polish law abiding citizens have murdered by using a firearm.
Most likely because it would be about the same number as the United States maybe.

Which counts down to 0.0000048 murders per NRA member.

We feel safer

"WE" as in anti gun grabbers or we as in the total population of the EU which just is not true.
The last terrorist attack in the EU the terrorist used a large truck to kill.
Are "WE" going to outlaw large trucks too to feel safer ?
Trucks don't kill people, people kill people.

It's nice how most of the pro gun ppl keep ignoring that majority of Poles don't want easier gun access.

It's nice how anti liberal gun ppl keep ignoring the fact that gun ownership is increasing in Poland.
Despite some of the most draconian laws on gun possession in the European Union, over the past decade the number of firearm permits in Poland has gone up by some 30 percent. (Google that one Har)

This fact seems to contradicts someone repeatedly saying that the "majority of Poles" don't want easier gun access.
One might say that it looks like the pendulum is starting to swing the other way in Poland which is a good thing.

Law / Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun? [918]

Now that I have time today with just the prime rib prepping to do for tonight's New Years Eve party..........

Did you know that not one (ZERO) murder by shooting ever occurred by a NRA (National Rifle Association) member.

What a hilarious claim!

Only if you want to "split hairs".
But since I was "required" to answer to Har AGAIN, to defend myself, let me "split the hairs" to be technically anal just for Har.

I'll give this a shot...using Wikipedia data for the following statistics.

The homicide rate in the US in 2010 was 4.8:100,000
There are 4.3 million members of the NRA.
On average, this would mean that there were 206.4 murders for the total 4.3 million NRA members (4.8 * 43) : (43 * 100,000).
Which counts down to 0.0000048 murders per NRA member.

So when I claimed an average of ZERO ever occurred by a NRA member only Har would challenge that just for the sake of an argument "splitting hairs" to be able to call someone a liar.

Perhaps you'd like to try telling the truth?

Perhaps you should get a life.
Perhaps the laws of law abiding citizens of Poland to be afforded the 'freedom to choose' if they desired to carry a gun for personal protection is in the near future.

And for those who choose not to carry one, well they should have that freedom too.

Another discussion about Poland that is now entirely about the USA.

Said the Brit Boy where half the discussions are about Britain on a U.S.A. based Polish Forum.

armed with a gun are close to zero?

Change that to, "armed with any kind of deadly weapon."
You know how many women carry a small gun for personal protection in the U.S.A.
It makes a rapist think twice when he sees a woman walking after dark with one hand in her pocket or shoulder bag.
I am no rapist and I avoid even making eye contact with such women at all costs.

Did you notice that the States with the highest murder rate on your map were all Liberal Democratic States ?
All Liberal democratic cities. Hmmmm

Take the mass shootings and subtract the mentally ill, Muslim terrorists, minority gang banger related who were responsible and compare those stats to law abiding gun owners.

It is not the law abiding gun owners that are responsible for the mass murders.
Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
The biggest mass murder in the U.S.A. was done with a bomb.
Didn't Germany just have a mass murder by a Muslim using a truck ?
And the difference is ?

I guess I do get a bit wreckless sometimes by not "splitting hairs" Har.
I stated that zero NRA members have committed murder with a gun and you googled "two" that did out of the 4.5 million members of the NRA.

Shame on me.

, here are two confirmed NRA members

Perhaps you would like to tell us WHO "confirmed" that claim ?

Sherwood, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association ...

Perhaps you could give a link that states this claim ?
I couldn't find that statement in the link that you posted.
You're not trying to sneak one past us are you Har ?

Joseph Wilcox

At least a gun gave him a chance to respond.
He was a hero by getting everyone out of the store to safety.
He then was shot in the back.
When you leave the critical details out of your claims Har it's just like lying. :-/
Now for the love of Mary can we PLEASE get back on thread you hard headed Auzzie.

is not a fact.

Oh but it is Har, very much so.
Just google the percentages and you will see that it is a fact.

so tell us when he became an NRA member

That is your job Har since YOU are the one that insinuated that he was a NRA member, not me.

perhaps you can tell us

Or "perhaps" you would like to tell us.
Again, another post of your trolling has taken this thread Off Topic.
That calls for a sixth warning in any civilized forum and permanent ban.
If I don't get a chance to say goodbye Har, I will say it now, "Good Bye Har".

Terrorism spreads like a cancer and likes soft targets and innocent victims to terrorize.
Poland's turn is coming just like the rest of the EU is experiencing.
Eventually it's citizens will demand to be able to protect themselves and their families by carrying a gun to have a fighting chance.
It takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun.

Is vile racism

OH NO ! I have to defend myself to "spitting hairs" again. lol
Take your race card and shove it Har.
I don't play the "political correctness" guilt trip game.
Facts are not racism.
Perhaps you would like to google the prison population by race in America.
Then compare that to Poland's prison population by race.

you know when he became a member of the NRA, care to tell us how you came by that information?

LOL, I don't want to "split hairs" however YOU are the one that claimed that he was a NRA member, not me, you liar.

Perhaps you would like to tell us how you came by that information ?
NOW, quit your trolling to take this thread Off Topic AGAIN !
The P.F. is not your personal therapy class any longer Har.

Har is just trolling again to take the thread off topic.

the man who served as the National Rifle Association's general counsel for 17 years, Robert Dowlut, was convicted of murdering his girlfriend's mother by shooting her.

LOL - Except for the minor details (but who wants to "split hairs") you left out Har ..........
Perhaps you could show us that he was a "NRA member" and not just a NRA councilor.
You left out that the conviction was reversed and Dowlut eventually walked free.
That information kinda makes you out to be a liar again dunnit it Har.
But who is "splitting hairs". lol
But as usual you troll for an argument that is Totally Off Topic begging to get your sixth warning.

ill take the whole fking Europe and show you that murders including usage of firearms is all together many many times lower than in the US.

A no brainer.
That is because Europe doesn't have the Black population nor the Latino population that America has.

he sees danger round every corner.

If you are not paranoid you're not paying attention. (sarcasm)
Oh Pam where do you come up with such ridiculous statements like that. (does palm plant on forehead)

Americans appear to have no concept of what it is like to not have to live in fear

When I have my "Huckleberry" with me I fear nothing.
If you had half the freedoms I have you wouldn't be so jealous.

Law / Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun? [918]

There are like 50 mass shootings every year in the US

That is not true. (sigh, does palm plant on forehead)
There are ten times as many people in the U.S.A. as there is in Poland so many more variables to make up stats.

How many mass murders were committed by Muslims ?
How many by Black and Latino gang bangers ?
How many by the mentally ill ?
ALL OF THEM with illegal guns is the correct answer son.

There is no guy with the gun since he couldn't buy it or illegally borrow it from his mother, his son or his Brother or from fking aliens. Its so fking simple.

Bet me that if I came to Poland that I couldn't buy an illegal gun within a week if I really wanted one.
Come on son, get real.
Did you know that not one (ZERO) murder by shooting ever occurred by a NRA (National Rifle Association) member.
These are the people that own guns legally.
You have been brainwashed well by the Liberal gun grabbers in the U.E.
Responsible gun owners enjoy their God given freedom to self defend themselves and their families.
Poland should be allowed those same freedoms is all I am saying.

We dont need your laws

As we don't need yours. Pi pi pi

Cant you see that if no one is allowed to posses a weapon.= I cant borrow IT from any one else.

Exactly leaving only the bad guys having illegal guns.
The part you fail to understand that to stop a bad guy with a gun it takes a good guy with a gun.
When you get a little older and get drafted into the military they will teach you these things.

Please dont judge us

I certainly would never do that as I admire Poland's low murder rates.
You also live in a very beautiful and peaceful part of Poland that I will eventually be visiting soon.

by "borrowing weapons from Uncle

It is against the law in the U.S.A. to posses a handgun that is not registered to you.
Terrorists like soft targets as well as criminals (who use 'unregistered' guns) who like gun free zones.
By the time the police get there now all that is left is victims while if there was a well armed community the criminal would still be there too. (Face down)

How long do you think it will be before Poland experiences a mass murder that could have been stopped if there would have been armed citizens ?

Think the innocent Polish truck driver in Berlin might be alive today if he had one ?

i dont need a gun.

I most likely wouldn't need a parachute either but if I ever did need one and didn't have one I would never need one again.

At least I would have the "freedom" to have that personal choice.
If you feel you don't need a gun then fine, don't apply for a permit to have one but please don't tell me that I can't have that "freedom" to carry one just because you don't want to have one.

Law / Weapons laws in Poland. Carrying a concealed handgun? [918]

Czech Republic allows open and conceal carry with a gun permit.

I don't hear about responsible gun permit holders shooting each other.
Amazing when bullets are flying at you and you let a few go flying back the violence stops.
Remember back in 1997 when England outlawed handguns and the murder rate shot up 45% for the next eight years.
Kind of proves the point that unarmed citizens are more likely to die from gunshots then someone who is armed.
Now with Polish citizens starting to die from terrorists it might be high time that the Polish citizens are allowed to carry a concealed handgun with a permit to be able to defend themselves if necessary.

Well, banned ex members have the nasty habit to come back under a different nick. Like you, for example. LOL!

Purely hear say for humor purposes...........and it WORKED !

Yeah, but you only say that because the truth hurts, baby.

Baby ! You one of those funny boys aren't you living up there on the Left Coast.
What "truth are you referring to ?
You must have some proof besides hearsay to make such a statement.
When I ask for proof you produce crickets.
See how rumors get started.

Unfortunately that was not the question but you did make my other point which was:

The point was to make a point which was.....Like YOU for example.

One would think that someone who "repeatedly" (stalks) other posters for the mere PURPOSELY to get "under their skin" would fall under the "Bully" category which is Abuse.

If the member warning system actually worked You would have been banned a long time ago for Trolling, Stalking, Bullying and Abuse.
You are what we call here in Texas, A HOOT !

why a permanent ban when the ex-members are allowed back in through the backdoor anyway

There needs to be proof and you have spent HOURS trying to find some but what brings the tears are........you can't find any.

mods are busy enough as it is.

The mods are doing a great job.

.......................the mods are going to be very busy with non-stop complaints about why such and such hasn't been warned for saying this, that and the other.

Do you have anyone in mind in particular ? lol

Purposely offensive and inflammatory posts should simply be removed

You mean like this purposely one ?

The only proven liar in this thread (other than Wulky) is you.
And me repeatedly pointing that out is really getting under your skin, isn't it.

One would think that someone who "repeatedly" (stalks) other posters for the mere PURPOSELY to get "under their skin" would fall under the "Bully" category which is Abuse.

Only a unbalanced individual with a superiority complex caused from low self esteem would appoint themselves for such an abusive job to knowingly be aware of and PURPOSELY get under someone's skin.

Laughable at best when then such an individual cries to the mod. when they get abused purposely.

Well you do need to be a bit thick skinned to stay here!

Or just consider the source and not take it seriously.
I mean all it amounts to is black lettered words on a white screen. Pffffft !

You and others deliberately troll and bait,

Did you notice this last week when two of the regular posters both got suspensions (AGAIN) that when they were allowed back that their very first posts were right back to where they left off for what they got suspended for !

My gosh man, if that is not thumbing your nose at the authority what is.
If I were the Mod. I would have said, "o.k. guys, I guess three days suspension was not enough time to think about it, let's try three weeks and the next time will be three months."

How many suspensions is one allowed before one is permanently banned or should Pigsy be allowed back ?
