Life / A Third of Poland has declared itself to be an official "LGBT - Free Zone". [20]

A third of Poland has declared itself to be an official "LGBT- free" zone as local municipalities sign a pledge adopting resolutions against "LGBT propaganda".

Nearly 100 Polish municipal or local governments have now proclaimed themselves to be "free from LGBT ideology".
Local authorities in these areas pledge to refrain from acts that encourage tolerance and must avoid providing financial assistance to NGOs working to promote equal rights.

And not that long ago right here on the Polish Forum such propaganda was being posted on how Poland welcomed gay marriage and homosexuality when there was nothing further from the truth, in fact, just the opposite as you can see.

Read about it here and see the map:

but a residue is not possession so in my opinion it's not within the law.

Residue contains thc which is written within the law in my opinion plus it confirms "intent".

You dont want to try that on any trains or busses in the US either,

In Michigan you are allowed to have 2.5 ounces on you for personal use.
In a train, bus or car it must be in a locked box.

I just sold my PLMR for $59.14 and took my $900 profit.

Today at noon it was down to $57.23.
That saved me $575 to pull the trigger yesterday instead of waiting until today for said loss.
I feel like such a genius sometimes. :-)

The Dow is up 600 and the Nasdaq is up 300 today so far.

So if you would have jumped on say 500 shares of DT@ $18

DT Energy just his $30.49 up $12 a share since I bought it five weeks ago.
Hold that one as it has lots of room to go up yet.

My next investment was last Friday when I bought 300 shares of PLMR at $56 per share.

I just sold my PLMR for $59.14 and took my $900 profit.
I suggest you do the same if you bought any.

Life / What is Poland going to be like in the 2050s? [72]

Those ain't low paying jobs Spike.
Poland will be called the Silicon Valley of Europe.
I just threw the retirement homes in so dolno and I would have a place to play pool and drink vodka all day with cute candy stripper nurses giving us our sponge baths every night while another one gave us our massages and tucking us in while another one read us a bedtime story.

Life / What is Poland going to be like in the 2050s? [72]

Poland will become a retirement country for all of the E.U. once the air is cleaned up by building a nuclear power plant to provide clean energy.

People that come to Poland to retire will like the countries modern amenities while creating an abundance of jobs for the Polish citizens.
Old people need care constantly which will increase Poland's retirement home and hospital capacities, more restaurants with the best services that money can buy.

President Barron Trump will partner with Poland's Bio Research Labs and Technology Centers making them the best in the world.
Poland will be thriving and the hub of the E.U.in the 50's.

, do I really want to hold onto them and keep track of what they're doing?

I have a couple of blue chip like AT&T that I check maybe every three months or so.
The dividends from them just keeps re investing in themselves and occasionally they go up and seldom go down much.
They pay much more interest than a bank does so a good place to park your money for long term.

selling short and so on, but it's rather not for me.

Me neither delph as that is really throwing the dice best left for professional brokers.

PKNOrlen will take over one of the biggest energy companies in Poland

I would not hesitate to have that for my main blue chip stock if I were young and Polish.

Sure, I get access to...5? daily through my banking brokerage

Those free ones give you some guidance and are good learning tools.
Mine is put together by some of the best brokers in the country that are educated on log rhythms, option strategies, flow charts, spreads, futures, etc.

They put all their knowledge together and put together these trading charts for most all the stocks out there.
It cost me about $5k a year for these charts but is well worth it.
Like anything, the more you play with it the better you get at it but it does take some of your time to make money.

That's why I am on my computer so much while just squeaking out a living.
Today the market is tanking because this is the first time in history that oil prices have gone negative.

Then why haven't you ever been to Poland?

I promise you that money is not the issue my friend.

Anyway, Johnny seems to deliver market tips for free.

And it is making some people very jealous because they lack their skills or don't have the funds to invest so therefore I am done trying to help people make some extra cash by punching buttons on their computer.

I mean I can't erase previous posts and they have all showed that I have made a modest amount of money on every single investment from Tesla to DT energy.

I am no magician but no one else can seem to give any stock tips here that consistently make money.

I suggested DT Communications in Germany in the first post of this thread @ $18 per share.

Today DT closed at $26.50, up $8 a share.
If you would have bought 500 shares like I suggested you would now have made $4000 in a month on a $9000 investment.
Will that be enough for a one month vacation in Poland ?

My next investment was last Friday when I bought 300 shares of PLMR at $56 per share.
My trading charts are showing very positive signs on this stock.
Plant Impact plc was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Harpenden, the United Kingdom.
As of March 28, 2018, Plant Impact plc operates as a subsidiary of Croda Europe Limited.
Plant Impact plc, through its subsidiaries, develops and markets crop enhancement products to deliver yield and quality benefits for growers in the Americas, Europe, and internationally.

Anyone else got a suggestion to put their neck out on the line for a hot stock ?

- as I said you are taking the notional value not the market value.

Correct - Determining the actual size of the derivatives market depends on what a person considers part of the market, and therefore, what figures go into the calculation. The larger estimates come from adding up the notional value of all available derivatives contracts.

most people were comparing that interest rates of 3 percent were too high.

Nope and not even 2.5%.
Mr Trump, was unimpressed with the Federal Reserve's 0.25 percentage point cut that took the federal funds target range to 2-2.25%.
Glad we got that straightened out.

But pretty much every economy in the world has 5-6 major banks.

But what other economy is sporting 200 Trillion in their five banks like those five banks in America ?

I don't believe those derivative figures -

Your opinion is just that until you can prove me wrong with credible sources.

most people were comparing that interest rates of 3 percent were too high

Please fill me in on what 3% interest rates you are talking about.

I was all for Trump, but now it is clear that he works for the Fed

Five banks control the economy, Citigroup, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Goldman Sachs.
Those same five banks as of December 31, 2019 were sitting on astronomical levels of highly combustible derivatives: in notional (face amount) of derivatives, JPMorgan Chase held $46.4 trillion; Citigroup held $40.8 trillion; Goldman Sachs Group had $39.6 trillion; Morgan Stanley sat on $32.5 trillion while Bank of America held $30.4 trillion.

Guess what fella's, all five of them are tanking.
Take for example on February 14 of this year, Citigroup's share price closed at $78.79.
Yesterday it closed at $40.52, a decline of 48.5 percent in two months.
These five banks represented 83 percent of all derivatives held by the more than 5,000 Federally insured banks in the U.S.
Americans are paying a huge price for allowing these five banks to control it's economy.

Good man delph,
taking a small risk on an under valued stock often pays off like it has for you.
NOW the tricky part, when do you dump them and move onto the next bargain ?
I tend to get greedy and hold on to long before I pull the plug on them.
I also use trading charts delph, do you have companies that sell trading charts in Poland ?
I would be naked trading without them.
They tell you when to buy and when to sell stocks and are usually some what accurate.
Those are for day trading mostly where sometimes you buy and sell it within two hours.
Other times when a stock is tanking I jump in and buy short and sell it after a day or two.

Still can't get any of their hand sanitizer

All the distillery's here have switched over to making hand sanitizers which are better (stronger) than the original store bought ones.
I went in last week and bought a gallon of hand sanitizer for $24 and spent another $24 on a fifth of their home made Tequila.
I have poured off the gallon into all my friends small pump bottles and still have enough to last me my life time.

At which point the looters will start taking their own firearms with them.

At that point Marshal law will be put in place.
Anyone brandishing a firearm in public will be shot dead on the spot by the authorities.

You must all be smarter than me

That is because some of us have been investing day in and day out for forty years.
You eventually learn how to put the odds in your favor.
In the last two days I would be ashamed to tell you what I have made from what I bought a month ago when the 'nervous nellies' were dumping their stock left and right and I was buying at bargain prices.

Have you taken note what the market has done in the last couple of days ?

Funny how you guys never lose on real estate or stocks.

I have never lost on real estate but have lost many times on different stocks.
I am done giving suggestions here because all I do is get mocked.
I stuck my neck out and suggest you buy Tesla a couple of years ago and got laughed at.
If you would have listened and taken my advise you could retire now in Poland modestly.
Just two weeks ago I suggested DT Communications in Germany in the first post of this thread @ $18 per share.
Today it opened at $23 per share but has been slipping a bit since.
So if you would have jumped on say 500 shares @ $18 and sold at the open today at $23 you would have made $2500 in a two week period.

But who listens to me.
I will be holding my DT until it increases to over $30+ per share projecting to double my investment.
It may take six months, a year, two years but it will get there which is a hell of a lot better then having my money in a bank at a negative interest rate.

Would any one here like to give us a suggestion on what they think may be a hot stock ?

Law / How much does the average Pole have in cash savings? [38]

I don't keep much of my cash in the banks.
I don't trust banks.
The bad part is that your homeowners insurance will only cover up to $2,000 in cash/coins for fire or theft.
I think we talked about this before.
A mans treasures are a mans worries.

Law / The right to own guns: would you support such legislation in Poland? [2237]

Do they happen here?

Yes, the girls here even showed pictures of how confusing the crossing lines are and how very few drivers pay attention to them.

I've never seen even one 'thug with a knife'.

I've never seen a mass shooting.

I will use my ChinaVirus money to buy an AR-15 with laser.

What brand name are you buying ?

This announcement of this new vaccine made the stock market jump up over a 1000 points today.

msn.com/en-us/health/health-news/a-potential-coronavirus-vaccine-funded-by-bill-gates-is-set-to-begin-testing-in-people-with-the-first-patient-expected-to-get-it-today/ar-BB12e01f?li=BBnb7Kz

I am in pretty good shape but still on shaky ground as the looting will start this summer and could wreck it all.
Trumps should give orders to shoot to kill the looters right from the get go.

Law / The right to own guns: would you support such legislation in Poland? [2237]

It must be strange to be so fearful, to have 'mass shooter drills'.

Not any stranger than in Poland having drills on how to cross at a crosswalk to get across the road without being so fearful of getting run down by a drunk.

And if someone really wants a firearm in Poland they can get one by hook or crook just like any other country in the world, jon.

in fact most in the village get pi$$ed at least once a week

Doesn't sound like a real stable place.
Think the alcoholism has anything to do with that ? (Urg !)

its a way of life here.

Here in America irresponsible drunks are not tolerated.
Maybe that is why are prisons are full that you so often mock.
Having an accountable and responsible culture seems much more attractive for women and children then dealing with drunks at every corner.
Now that I understand the real reason for not wanting guns in Poland.
The part I don't understand is that if Poland is a Christian Country and the Bible clearly states that drunkards will no inherit the Kingdom of Heaven why do the hypocrites even go to church to pretend they love the Lord.

Plenty in your country;

Not within 200 miles of where I live.
America is a big country jon.

there is no interest in weakening the current laws on gun ownership.

So you project with your personal opinion but put it on the ballot and you may just find out how wrong you are.

nor expat.

Oh, so now you are claiming to be a native Pole ?
And yes, you are old school Brit through and through.

Law / The right to own guns: would you support such legislation in Poland? [2237]

People are happy without mass shootings.

Same here where I live jon.
There are no mass shootings and everyone has a gun, maybe that is why.

there's no particular will here for a change in the current law.

Is that the opinion of an outdated ex-pat projecting his opinion ?
Lets put your paranoia in perspective jon.
I would be 100,000 times more likely run over and killed by a Polish drunk driver in Poland than if you came to America and got shot and killed in a mass shooting.

who are always pi$$ed wombling around

Here in America they would be arrested and hauled off to the pokey if they were drunk and wobbling in public, gun or no gun.

If they had a gun and drunk they most likely would get shot by the cop.
Eventually the stupid drunks get thinned out because guns an alcohol do not mix.
You can't even legally be in possession of a loaded gun and alcohol at the same time in America.

Only someone born and raised in Poland would understand

Then we are not talking of British jon then are we.
He sure likes to pretend to be Polish however as he speaks as a wanna be authority for Poland. :-/

Gun laws here are unlikely ever to be slackened; there is no public will for this.

What scares you about guns jon, the loud noise or the chance of catching one in the back of the head ?
