According to Polish law this sentence is equal to "I am a Polish nazi". Both criminal genocidal ideologies, nazism and communism, are illegal in Poland and promoting them can result in a jail sentence for a sickf*ck doing that.

It is indeed. It's like with those paper drinking straws that melt in your mouth whilst disposable plastic cups and plastic cup covers are still used. Not to mention plastic bags, plastic boxes and plastic pretty much everything. But the drinking straw must be paper - not because it's ecological, as you have to use 3 of those before you finish your drink, but just to show you that you are a piece of sh*t who has nothing to say, they can decree what they want, and there's nothing you can do about it.

And there's a cherry on top - those paper drinking straws, which are supposed to be used to reduce plastic waste, come in plastic packaging (to avoid contamination because paper is hygroscopic ha ha :D). So the purpose is not ecology but to show you your place, your worth (zero). Green Khmers are ruthless.

Military commanders and top politicians looking proudly on the marching "Red Berets" during this year's 15th August military parade. Red (burgundy, to be more exact) berets are worn by airborne and air cavalry, and deservedly earned the reputation of elite forces of Wojsko Polskie. They are often confused with red (scarlet, to be more exact) berets of Military Police units.

Bochnia salt mine - the oldest one in Poland - opened in 1248, is located about 40km from Cracow and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Its underground corridors and chambers, as well as the medieval mining machinery are well worth seeing.

The post was about the smallest cities in Poland, so it's difficult to find an active synagogue there... BUT... in the 3rd smallest city in Poland (Ciepielów, population 738) there are ruins of an old synagogue...



... working synagogues can be found in larger cities.


Of course we have, but there are very few muslims in Poland so the mosques are usually in big cities (Warsaw, Gdańsk)... BUT... there are beautiful old wooden mosques of Polish Tatars in small villages of Bohoniki and Kruszyniany...

Well, you could buy a used one for Polish zlotys on giełda komputerowa, but they were all rather expensive in the 80s.

My dad brought me mine from West Berlin and still one year later I was the only kid in my class with his own computer. It's amazing how it all changed in a mere 40 or so years.

I know, I had almost every single issue! Got my first computer in 1985, when I was still in pre-school, but it was just a ZX Spectrum 48k. Amiga was an incredible machine but it appeared on the market in 1987 and was quite expensive back then. Got my first PC (386) in exactly the same year you bought yours. It was pure magic. Aaaah... the nostalgia. They don't make computers like these anymore ;)
