Nor is the U.K., however yes there are massive differences. The U.K. has half as many people again and a very different economic base. Nevertheless, the two countries compliment each other well and there could be a case for another union od fully independent sovereign states in Europe (with a few countries elsewhere), perhaps overlapping with the EU like a sort of Venn Diagram.

I just googled him. You're on holiday in a nice place. Not cheap though.


That's over £400 and over 2000zl however some people pay more than that for ones that are mass produced so it seems a good price. They would probably last a very long time and fit like a glove.

The city Imspend most time in when in the U.K. has a shop which sells Church's shoes. Not quite handmade but almost. Certainly hand finished. They're not cheap but I'm thinking about it.

The original meaning of the word is cat. It came to be used (first of all in American English) to describe vaginas (though not all are that quiet...) a long long time after the word first appeared. It may have come from Dutch. In Afrikaans, both a pussy cat and a vagina are called "poes".

In Sweden they call it a mouse apparently.

A word that sounds like its meaning. Rushing waves, howling wolves, oinking pigs. Psss, psss, pussy (cat is "mau" in a lot of languages). Kiciuś is onomatopoeia.

They're both Indo-European languages so there will be obvious similarities. To say that one of many languages in that family (and not an old one at that) is domhow the origin of English is beyond laughable.

People used to tell me that they didn't wear white shirts if they went on business to Kato because the cuffs and collar would be filthy by the end of the day. I didn't believe them.
