First, read the facts folksies, then comment! Countries are often referred to as"she", at least in standard English. Wrong on both counts LOL

The West saved Poland's butt and here but for the grace of G_d went Germany along with the rest of the Axis! The Americans were far from perfect, but many other nations might never even wanted to make diplomatic amends with the enemy, either erstwhile or current-:)

Well Ioshi, from which garden spot on the globe do YOU hail, pray? You might be interested to know that Germany and Poland have some of the most beautiful landscapes anywhere in Europe.

Germans typically cherish their personal space aka "Privatsphaere" with near zealous ardor! Perhaps the Poles along with certain other groups are the same.

Language / Polish was chosen the HARDEST LANGUAGE in the world to learn... :D [1558]

Ck. out the sophisticated dialogue from classic Hollywood movies for ORDINARY Americans in the '4O's through the 6O's and tell me English is so simple. Our morphology may be transparent, our lexic and idiom?? Don't think so-:) Forget about tour orthography.

NO language has a monopoly on difficulty! English is labeled as "easy", while to communicate both correctly as well as coherently (much less completely idiomatically) among most Europeans,, seems but a Sissyphussian task, save for all but the rarest of prodigies. A bit of the proverbial double standard once again-:)

You are an unrepenitent anti-Semite who can't see G_d's truth right in front of him.

Poland initially saw some value in allowing the Jews in, therefore it was only natural that the Jews felt they owed something to their adopted Ojczyzna!

@Rich's not only an anti-Semite, but a mega hypocrite to boot. He speaks a language other than Polish but does that make him a non-Pole?! In addition, his espursions re: assimilated European Jews is straight out of "The Eternal Jew" by Fritz Hippler.

Assimilated Polish-born Jews considered themselves as ordinary Poles just as American-born, English native-speaking Jews feel 1OO% ,red-white-blue American, pre-Nazi German Jews were German to the bone etc. 'Cuz bigots like you set a super duper double standard's YER problem, bro, not mine!

Bernie was but the tip of the iceberg! Furthermore, as I recollect, our Yankee doodle Dandy Robber Barons were NOT Jewish.

Through no inherent fault of course, but they had the thankless task of needing to survive...with ZERO help from any Jewish auxilliary organizations, most of which didn't exíst at the time-:)

The early Jews were typically not allowed in most creative endeavors, school quotas and the like (even art schools!). Therefore, with precious few exceptions such as the incomparable Edith Head neé Horowitz, Bernard Herrmann, Miklos Rosza, directors Lewis Milestone, Henry Koster ("The Bishop's Wife") etc., most Hollywood Jews ended up as ruthless, cut-throat money men further fueling anti-Jewish stereotypes.
