Chances of Moscow becoming part of Poland again?

Absolutly.

Explain why you think that some people's votes are worth less than others.

a milittary coup

Which he won. He was a great man, and Poland's greatest leader.

Which he won

Because he was ruthless and did not care how many people will die while president of Poland actually did.

Explain

We are talking about Poles, right? So, we should count votes of Poles not others. In this light its a fact that majority of Poles didn't support him.

He wasn't even supported by the majority of all voters, otherwise why milltary coup?

The question should be "chances for warsaw to become part of Moscow again" not the other way around.

We are talking about Poles

We're talking about Poland. Quite multicultural in its heyday.

that majority of Poles didn't support him.

They did. Even though you try to besmirch his memory with weak and craven lies.

Different languages would be a problem. Russian Empire failed to assimilate Warsaw to a significan reason because Poles refused to speak Russian.

But in general I like the idea of different nations unification. Hostility and separation is annoying. I think all European nations, Russia included will be in EU ultimately. Paralelly nothing prevents to develop some kind of a Slavic Union. Cooperation on fighting crime is especially topical.

@Vlad1234

Russia will never be a.member of the EU and I say that is their good fortune.
The EU in its current form will not.survive much longer anyway.

Russia will never be a.member of the EU

"Never" means in the nearest 30-50 years?
Cojestdocholery 2 | 1,191

Quite multicultural

It doesn't mean anything. Unless you mean - full of people who didn't care about Poland's interest or prosperity. We have them here today too.

They did.

Some did.

I hope you are right.
I just saw a couple of 4k videos from Moscow. Breathtaking...A city where nobody sh*its, injects, or throws garbage on the sidewalks, gets pushed in front of a train, and where bad dudes are scared of the cops and shopping is done the old fashioned way - by paying. A different world...

Ah home sweet home - the rickety trams, the queues, the aroma of soggy pelmeni and your weekly ration of herring.
Novichok 4 | 7,357
29 Dec 2021 #72
your weekly ration of herring.

...but without the daily cases of kneegroes throwing white people on the tracks when a train is coming...looting...burning...stealing...while the cops are watching and doing sh*it about it. No fags telling kids that fu*cking another man is normal. No need to navigate around feces and needles...No playing world cop and going broke doing it...The fastest fighter jets, the biggest plane, playing Uber to the US and the station up there, AK-47, best skaters and chess players,...big balls and Crimea...

What else...Did I miss anything?

Oh, yeah, and the best national anthem normal people can sing and sing they do! Did you watch those videos I posted?

Ah home sweet home - the rickety trams,

You are right. Just look at that beautiful NY subway and the one in that sh*ithole, Moscow...

Tacitus 2 | 1,354

Yeah, who needs a working infrastructure and hralth system outside of Moscow when at least the subway looks beautiful. NK has also relatively beautiful looking subways as well.

Meanwhile, Russia reports more than 1m excess deaths thanks to Covid, but who needs hospitals when you have tanks and missiles?
Novichok 4 | 7,357

Russia reports more than 1m excess

The US reports 800,000+ deaths and millions killed during the "Shove Democracy Down Their Throats" US and "allied" operations. How many died because Russia's military swamp wanted another adventure - oops, sorry, I meant nation-building.

Covid deaths rates:

19. Poland - 2500
20. US - 2500
...
32 Russia - 2100

Tacitus, always take a deep breath and count to 10 before you decide to debate me.

Just look at that beautiful NY subway

In my opinion Northern Americans spend too much money on luxury cars, but too little on city infrastructure. Here in Canada subway don't look as auful as in NY, but still deserves for better. The same is true about roads, sidewalks and city parks, etc. Obviously different traditions from the best places in Europe. I saw only a few places where sidewalks are paved.

It's not Northern Americans. It's Northern American thieves aka government. The scam works like this...They set up a fund. They collect taxes to fund the fund. Like to keep the roads and trains in good order. Then they spend the fund money on the parasites - the government "workers" when they "work" or after they retire. When a bridge is ready to collapse and kill, they collect new taxes or print to fix that bridge. That's the USA for you.

Just google Big Dig (20 years, start to finish) and then compare it with the Crimean Bridge (2 years).

I already do, which is why I only reply to your most inane posts.

You praise Russia, while I point out that it is failing its' citizen during the biggest crisis of the last 76 years.

The Russian government has downplayed the number of Covid victims in thr past, but the excess death rate reveal the true picture. Up to 1m people have died.... That is more than three times the number of Polish victims relative of its' population size and five times the number of victims of Germany.

The Russian government has downplayed the number of Covid victims in the past

And the US and other Western "democracies" were honest and truthful. And I am 2020 Miss America...

Until you source it, it's bs.

This is well documented, just google "Russia" "Excess deaths" and "Covid" and you will find countless articles on it.

I will not be doing your googling. So, until you source WHAT YOU CLAIM, what you said is crap.

Those are based on official government numbers. No one seriously believes the figures given by the Russian government (because only saps believe anything the Russian government says).
Tacitus 2 | 1,354

The reports of excess death rates since the pandemic started are btw. also based on official Russian statistics. If anything, they might still be too low.

themoscowtimes.com/2021/12/03/russias-excess-death-toll-passes-810000-a75729

rferl.org/amp/russia-covid-life-expectancy/31547862.html

google.com/amp/s/rferl.org/amp/russia-covid-deaths-double-numbers/31536128.html

And like I said, there are many more articles available.

There have long been suspicions that the Russian government has been hiding the true death toll, and those numbers confirm this suspicion
Novichok 4 | 7,357
30 Dec 2021 #84
but who needs hospitals when you have tanks and missiles?

I accept the excess deaths numbers you linked - most likely due to poor health and a short life span caused mainly by alcoholism.
The connection between covid deaths and what the country spends on healthcare is not obvious at all.
According to worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries, the US - the biggest spender - and Colombia - a sh*ithole - have the same death rates of 2500 per million. The same is true of the UK and Ukraine at 2200. Try to explain that...other than that everybody lies one way or the other.
Tacitus 2 | 1,354
30 Dec 2021 #85
You do understand what excess death means right? Those people died in addition to those you would expect to die based on previous years since the pandemic started. Based on those figures, Russia lost several times more people relative to its' size than all the other Western countries (whose populations siffer from high obesity rates and hogh median ages, factors which make Covid more deadly).

Or in simple terms: Russia hast lost more people to Covod than the USA despite having slightly more a 1/3 of the American population.
Novichok 4 | 7,357
30 Dec 2021 #86
You do understand what excess death means right?

I knew what excess death meant before covid.
I now know that excess death from covid has nothing to do with how much we spend on healthcare. Hence, your comment about the Moscow subway is pointless but my comment about not being fat and drunk every day is pure genius.
Tacitus 2 | 1,354

that excess death from covid has nothing to do with how much we spend on healthcare

Of course it does. A well equipped health care system will be better able to cope with the strain the pandemic puts on to the system and Russia's hospitals were known to be in terrible shape even before the pandemic.

US Americans are suffering from obesity and had a president who woefully mismanaged the pandemic for the first year, yet its' hospitals were evidently able to much better deal with the situation than Russia.

full of people who didn't care about Poland's interest or prosperity.

One political tendency always says that about their rivals, and vice versa. Everywhere.

That's no reason (unless you're insane) to pretend that one person's vote is worth less or more than another's according to whether or not you personally agree with them.

@jon357
Try and say that again after a celebrity officially says who he/she voted for during an election...

I can guarantee you, that a lot of people would suddenly start voting and on same party as the celebrity. Then tell us his/her vote counts no less or more :)
jon357 74 | 21,756

It counts the same as everyone else's. You're confusing votes with people's public profile. Every vote is of equal worth.
