Yes, you are partly Polish if you feel it.

half caucasian, half swiss.

This suggests Swiss are non-whites.

This suggests Swiss

It's only Americans who say 'caucasian' when they mean white. He's probably talking about Caucasian as in the actual Caucasus region.

No, you aren't.

Identity is what someone feels. You can be a Pole and an Israeli at the same time.

Identity is what someone feels

passports are not issued based on one's feelings - just a reminder

@Alien
in israel, it depends where your parents came from. my mom was born on swiss and my dad was born in caucaus, dagestan, derbent, i'm ashkenazi (european jew), and mizrahi (middle eastern jew),it doesnt mean i'm necessarily only israeli. i don't consider myself israeli if i'm going for a trip on countries. i consider myself european, and i'm swiss that basically has a polish origin. if it wasnt my great grandmother i wouldn't be here today.

even if i'm not polish, i still have something left with me.

@jon357
yes, i'm from the caucasus region. on russia, derbent, dagestan, it was a muslim republic.

people that say they're caucasian just because they're "white" is stupidity, it's not necessary

passports are not issued

Who's talking about passports? The OP is talking about identity. Just a reminder.

Though of course he or she may be entitled to one.

i still have something left with me.

Exactly.

Sorry pal, I have a mathematical approach to reality. Your question was: am i polisch. There is only one correct answer. No you are not Polish. Not, even if you are a nice guy.

I see. So, accordingly, passports issued to Poles living in Russian partition zone automatically made them Russian. Amasing!

I'm assuming you're female due to your fragmented response. If so, I understand that you are fascinated by your Polish great-grandmother. Unfortunately, great-grandmother is not even grandma. The time factor is simply too far away. Was it now an acceptable answer?

i feel connected to the culture.

Good! So, you probably like the Polish dish called carp ala Jewish, in sweet sauce with almonds and raisins. My fave.

am i polish..?

Please ignore some of the negative posts you may have had.
There are a few trolls on here.
You are obviously Jewish but that does not mean you cannot be Polish.
But your Polish ancestry is too far back to be relevant.
If your parents or even grandparents were Polish then I get the connection.
But great grandparents is just too distant.
If you feel the need to do it, please explore your Polish ancestry.Because it may be fascinating.
But don't think that you are in any way Polish.

@Miloslaw
of course, nationality in israel is common
my mother is a quarter polish... which it makes me 1/8 polish... if i'm not wrong, if she was 1/8, i would be 1/16.
i do believe i have polish roots, and i'm proud of it
and i call myself polish on roots which is understandable honestly
