a type I have never seen or heard of. Jerusalem mustard - with garlic and onion!!

A lot are novelty products, made in factories for short runs. More sauce than mustard.

I read about something last night, not strictly mustard. A traditional German one made with horseradish, apple and chives. I'd try that.

for short runs

But when they catch on, short turns into a long run.

You will like Maille Dijon .much better and can buy it in Poland too.
It's been around since 1845 so they are doing something right.
I prefer the original over the honey and other flavors they make.
In Middleton Wisconsin in the U.S.A. is where the National Mustard Museum is located.
It has the worlds largest collection of mustards that you can buy.
It's located only 2 1/2 hours north of Chicago (155 miles) so you could get Novi or Joker to drive up there and get you any kind of mustard available in the world.

This one's quite jolly. The original Mustard Museum in Norwich.

I went there once as a kid.

One more mustard which seems a long run - Juniper! Advertised as hot.
SPICY JUNIPER MUSTARD
Very spicy mustard made of black and white mustard with the addition of juniper seeds, which will satisfy the tastes of even the greatest connoisseurs of spicy mustards.

Ingredients: water, white mustard, spirit vinegar, sugar, black mustard, vegetable oil, salt, bee honey, acidity regulator: citric acid; spices, color: curcumin

Available weights:
200g, 300g pet, 5 kg, 10 kg bucket

Shelf life:
6 months from the production date

Check the site of the company which makes it. Traditions since 1880.

musztardykonik.pl/produkty/

We are a manufacturer distinguished by traditional cold production technology, i.e. a process that preserves the nutritional value of ingredients and does not lose the vitamins they contain. The creamed mustards are aged, cooled and slowly mixed for two days. No preservatives or thickeners are used in the production process.
Currently, most mustards on the market are pasteurized, vacuum degassed and hot packed.
This production technology radically reduces production time and costs, but reduces the nutritional value, vitamin content and taste of mustards.

Mustards with Konik - the only one in Poland and one of three in Europe - a mustard manufacturer operating continuously since the 19th century and still using traditional cold mustard production technology. Our flagship product - mustard cream with honey, has been in continuous production for almost 100 years according to exactly the same recipes, which is unique on the Polish food market. Currently, the company produces eight types of mustards: Sarepka, table-delicatessen, Kremska, horseradish, mayonnaise and horseradish, old French, juniper and our legendary mustard cream with honey. Traditional ketchups with mild and spicy flavors are also produced

The factory was established in 1880 thanks to the involvement of Jan Lebenstein, who came from the former Congress Poland. It developed in the heart of Zwierzyniec on the road between today's Emaus and Królowej Jadwigi streets. It produced vinegar and various types of mustard. Its name referred to the rich traditions of mustard production from Dusseldorf, a powerful mustard basin in Rhineland-Westphalia.

It is because my doctor strongly advised me to consume a lot of mustard.

I mean Dr D`Adamo who wrote a book about blood types and diets for them. My blood type A thrives on mustard. And it is true in my case coz I can eat mustard like my fave ice cream.

blood types and diets for them

Not particularly scientific.

If you like mustard, enjoy it.

It's probably nothing to do with blood groups though.

probably

Exactly. :):):)
BTW, did you already find the pic of Ukrainska mustard to show us??? :):):)

I don't trawl the web looking for pictures.

It's a nice enough name for a ready made mustard though.

Do you believe in the blood group diet? It's generally considered a scam to sell books. Certainly there's no known scientific evidence.

Have you ever tried Viking's Platter Mustard ?
It's herring in mustard sauce.
It's a Swedish recipe and quite nice.

Have you ever tried Viking's Platter Mustard

No, but I got myself two jars of Jerusalem mustard. Mild, and the garlic and onion are completely lost in it. Typical table mustard.

What do you do with mustard which remains at the bottom of the plastic bottle and refuses to be squeezed out??? I cut the bottle in half and scoop the mustard with my finger straight into the mouth. Delicious!!!

I cut the bottle in half

Using the famous Czech army knife, of course.
