As a non-slavic, non-speaker; positively. Better to learn one that relates to many..

interslavic language?

As long as it's Polish, I'm in favor of it.

And everyone in the room rejoices.

Ludzie, szybko, coś po polsku i się go pozbędziemy!

I would say for someone who doesn't know a slavic language but is interested in what they are like, it's a very good introduction to general vocabulary and grammar that's not overwhelming and gives a good feel for the languages as a whole.

And just for Novichoczek, aleś kochaniutki!

Interslavic is like a language bridge for Slavic people. It helps them talk to each other even if they speak different Slavic languages. Some think it's a cool idea that brings Slavic nations closer, while others worry it might affect their own languages. Your school project could explore both sides of the discussion to get a clear picture.

That's the theory but does it actually work in practise? ie someone who knows interslavic talking to someone else from another slavic country who is not aware of it.

I have never seen or heard it used - even on the internet
