.....well said!
Rydzyk gets away with racism yet again
I am really shock. A case like this still can have someone saying this is not offensive or racist. No wonder there are so many posts saying rasicim is not an issue in Poland.
No comment, say whatever you want, the world will judge and don't ask why so many people talking about stinky polish men (mainly in white society!). In their opinion is nothing wrong, just a joke.

Is it not a wonder for anyone why the liberal left-wing and jewish establishment with such intensity without interruption are attacking the Catholic Church?
he is (Rydzyk) not a Catholic church but one person. Stop writing posts full of paranoia please.
Unfortunately, many here do not understand this, instead they keep repeating the same vain atheistic mantra as do lobotomized "liberals" and "progressive leftists".
Please stop stereotyping people. People have their own opinion and they don't have to belong to certain political party, nor be atheist to see the simple truth that indeed, Father Rydzyk made a RACIST remark towards his fellow Black brother. Fact. He got away with it this time, he might not next time. It has nothing to do with attack on the Catholic Church in Poland, not anywhere else.
Father Rydzyk made a RACIST remark towards his fellow Black brother.
One has to be a native speaker in order to understand his intention.
I don't like him but for sure it wasn't some racist remark.
Rydzyk just tried to be nice lol.

Rydzyk just tried to be nice
"You haven't washed properly" that is nice? Even to a white person that's not a nice thing to say.

Look, Im ready to puke everytime I see Rydzyk but he just made a joke.
Stupid, not funny at all, good for retarded simpletons but he tried to be friendly.
......he should be spanked untill his buttcheeks are sore red, oh wait no, he actually might like that...

I am sorry, but I am a native speaker, so you lose your case here. He is a public person and he should watch what he is saying. If I " farted" in public like he did, I would say that I was joking too. The problem is: most people would not believe me. Sorry for the comparison, but I am a very artistic type:)
......what's wrong with farting :P
Anyway conclusion, lets burn Rydzyk at the stake!!!
no just kidding :P

nothing since it is a natural process or a poor diet, but RACISM is another story.
hahahah
He is a public person and he should watch what he is saying
First of all he is an idiot or even worse ... destructive idiot.
For that reason unable to anticipate the results of such a statement.
Political correctness is not his environment.
So let us agree:
purely linguistically it was some racist remark but for sure it wasn't his intention to say something like "Welcome ni..er".

nobody knows what his intentions were. Fact. It is not that important what he was trying to say, it is the outcome he will be judged on. Many famous people lost a lot because slips like that. THat is the price some have to pay for being in the public eye.

I agreed 100%. It will be not be an issue if he is just a normal monk in a village talking to his followers. Pls do not forget he is a very much public figure, having his own media, support by a relatively large political party (you know which one), get funding by government and openly supported by the head of state in this country (even his mobile business!). If he is a person as you describ, is there something wrong with those who support him?? Just 1 more point, he actually have the ability and already did affected voting result in this country few years back! so if political correctness is not his enviroment, then.....??

some people do, I personally don't but I am not trying to convince you to think my way. The closest he is to the American model would be w leaders of one of the Mega churches. I am not sure you still find him refreshing now:).
Beer on a hot day is refreshing, Rydzyk is a shrew businessman.

No,Rydszyk could never lead a mega church...To do that, one must be politically correct, and Khazar loving.

Can you describe this mega church?...How many people?...Is not Rydszyk a Catholic priest?...What is his financial staus?...Has he gotten wealthy from Radio Maryja?

You really dont know or just try to be funny? Is not secret in Poland that he is very active in stock market (lost in millions) and owner of a bentley. Not that rich to be on forbes list though.
Go Rydzyk!

What a ********!
He owns nothing as he is a monk so everything belong to order he belongs to!
Ignorant Anton000.
he is, but is not a good Catholic monk. I don't think envy is the problem here.
This is just pathetic human nature skilfully manipulated by ideologically hostile (towards the CC) mainstream media. Rydzyk is not typical representative of the clergy but certainly a good target for the enemies of the church (like GW for example). If he would not be so successful then he would not gain so much of their attention.
No comment, say whatever you want, the world will judge
The world?? What a silly statement! :)

You have absolutely no idea and apparently no shame if you spread false informations and did not bother to check the sources.
That is just BS people! Rydzyk is not a racist! What is it wrong saying Mózyn in Polish or czarny! TVN is anti catholic and PiS they work for PO! Every time either PiS or Rydzyk do some thing than tVN is all over it! I think media this day play politics to much! Are you people mad that Radio Maryia is successful I know PO and SLD are! Do you hate people like your grand parents and parents and family members who like Ojciec Rydzyk and Radio Maryja!!

from Wiki:
Tadeusz Rydzyk and his independent media creations have made many critics among left-wing, liberal and centrist parties. The criticism, both from inside and outside of Poland, accuses the media run by Rydzyk of xenophobia and antisemitism. "Father Director" also opened The College of Social and Media Culture in Toruń, in which he educates future Polish journalists in the spirit of Catholic and Polish values. One of the examples of many persistent attacks on Rydzyk is an article on 9 July 2007 where Wprost magazine published part of a lecture allegedly given by Rydzyk in which he called the president's wife Maria Kaczyńska a witch who should euthanize herself. He was also to claim that the president had cheated him.[3] Rydzyk refused to apologize saying that the sound recording was "a manipulation" and a result of a "fight of spirits". The official Vatican web page states that Rydzyk's radio station "became much more involved in spreading risky politics than in spreading the Gospel."[4]
"Father Director" applied for the funds of the European Union alloted to boost Polish businesses and researchers from 2007-2013 on the grounds that his school is an "incubator for modern technology in the service of civil society."[5][6]

Its nice to see a heated discussion over the good padre, I've yet to hear one allegation against this person to be proven, interesting to note that those throw the most mud with unfounded allegations are more offensive and out of order than anything this priest has done.

Wiki/Khazarpedia objects to Rydszyk because he is perceived as hostile to Khazaria...The Vatican bows before the Khazar throne also, unfortunately...Let me make it clear that I am not familiar with all the ins and outs of Rydszyk's financial and political affairs...I just like to see him irritate certain parties...I would hope that he is still a good priest, and hasn't turned to the worship of money...Catholics, in the current world, are fair game for any accusation...Now, if the chief rabbi of Poland was called a 'huckster', there would be universal outrage.

no , you are not. It would be wise to find out. It is not that difficult.
I would hope that he is still a good priest, and hasn't turned to the worship of money...
that does not seem to be the case, this is why he is very controversial in Poland and I think that he cashes in on popular anti- sentiments. This is how politically skilled he is.
Catholics, in the current world, are fair game for any accusation...
I said that before. It has nothing to do with the CC in Poland, but it has a lot to do with him as a person. Nobody accuses him for nothing - he provides a lot of reasons.
Now, if the chief rabbi of Poland was called a 'huckster', there would be universal outrage.
that would be a discussion for another thread, don't you think?

Really? Could be there others reasons?
What controversial?

Such as being successful?
And I love your - nobody accuses him for nothing - all "accusation" proved to be lies spread by his opponents, are you one of them or simply an idiot in the line?
that would be a discussion for another thread, don't you think?
no i don't ! I think that a very good question.

well, if you call me an idiot again I will report you to the Adm. I have the right to express what I think and people like you are just small roadblocks on my way, so .............do
What is your point?
that was for Joe, who is not really familiar with Rydzyk. What is your point? There are other people participating in this discussion besides you;)
Rydzyk was condemned by his own Polish CC and the present Pope.LOL
well, if you call me an idiot again I will report you to the Adm. I have the right to express what I think and people
ha ha, you are the first to make fun at other people and when you get a bit of your own medicine you cry wolf... I am not going to call you a idiot, I just carn't find a similiar word which means the same thing which is not offensive.
