You mean to say you are not sick bastard you are ?

So what you mean is 'I can't argue against the fact that calling a black person dirty because of their skin colour is racist because it clearly is racist, so instead I'll just insult the other poster and try to start an argument that way'. OK, fair enough.

Are you calling me xenophobic?
You failed to provide us with condemnation issued by Vatican concerning said RM or R.
Its make you liar or idiot !
It English language forum so you should have written insults in English for everyone to see and contemplate:)

I usually don't talk to people who are calling me names. That means they are out of arguments. The end.
You don't like to lose, your problem. I am not changing my views and your opinion is not gonna stop me. I told you that before and you still come back with more insults, therefore you are not the brightest person at all.

PS, Rydzyk is bad news for Polish CC.

Stop that hysteria Iron, you are giving me a headache.

You are not even clever enough to know when to shut up.
OK I'll!:)

Have its own sick way Harry.
I'm sure you know what I meant:)

Yes, you meant "As a racist myself I see nothing wrong with the hilarious joke told by Father Rydzyk".

Political correctness is not his environment.

Who cares what his environment is? Do you think I can do similar things and later in court say that: "Listen, this is not my forte, I am from another "environment"" and be justified?

Being a bishop, I would kick that ass out of the church. I wish that Rydzyk had a chance to see his "beloved" Jesus and the way he looked and stank. If this is what resides in Czestochowa, then what we can say of other sanctuaries? What an example of so-called follower of Christ who washed feet of his desciples, whereas that joke-priest made these unacceptable racist remarks.

Some of you begin to compare him with other political figures in order to justify Rydzyk. Why? Is this the way to deal with similar things - see whether there was a worse scenario and if this is the case let the perpetrator go, because he was not AS RACIST as someone before him. It is ridiculous and immature.

Also how can deep knowledge of Polish or being a native speaker make you think that by translating his words we are losing "innocent joke the poor old priest saintfully uttered upon the herd in his native Polish"? Is your language that sophisticated that even simple text becomes untranslatable correctly, with full meaning?

Sure, what else could you possibly say being what you are ?
Salut étoile :)

Very good point!

Not at all !

Who decides what is racist or not? State?
Its bulsite !
Decision should be up to the person to whom presumed "racist" expression or action were addressed !
Its only fair and would've stopped situations when accusation of racism is used as a weapon in political or ideological war.

Who decides what is racist or not?

How about something called common sense? Although I understand that you haven't heard of it.

one more insult from you. Thank you. You have lost your footing a long time ago.

Here it goes, my final comment: just because Rydzyk was not tried, it does not make him not guilty of a racist remark.
Just because Vatican, Polish CC does not officially condemn him ( I actually did not bother to look that one up- although Glemp commented on Rydzyk's activities in 2002), it does not mean that he is not on a watch of the said church.

If you had, you'd know that calling a black person dirty because his skin is dark is racist.

At some point i can agree that this guy did not mean it 100% as racist, i mean my conclusions are that he is ignorant on the "race respect"matters yet.

Let's face it, Poland has not got any experience with handling other races, it is new for them, therefore they make these mistakes and they will probably for some time. It is their lack of contact with it.

He might not have meant it as a hatred remark, but the joke it self was racist.

Well, maybe in your dark world but because both of them are Catholics priests and CC preach that people are equal in the face of God I say you are biased!

He might not have meant it as a hatred remark, but the joke it self was racist.

it should be left for said priest to decide, don't you think?

he does not decide what is racist or not...it works like this, in a dictionary, in any language.

Any remark made utilizing race to make fun = Racism.

As simple as that...

but because both of them are Catholics priests and CC preach that people are equal in the face of God I say you are biased!

Christ was preaching equality 2,000 years ago. Church till the end of the Middle Ages (if I am not mistaken) claimed that Africans don't have souls. Church evolves very slowly compared to the society in general. We should help it to break the strings of historic retardedness as well as it may help us be more peaceful in everyday's life.

it should be left for said priest to decide, don't you think?

No, it is to our society to decide whether it was racist or not. A priest in itself is a servant of a church and most of the time will be forced to keep his tongue behind teeth if the Church says so. If it remaied in the walls of the Church - no problem. But it was said publicly and, therefore, the priest has to bare responsibility for that. Consequences of him saying this way and being that easily excused or even forgotten, will have its repercussions on our society. This is why he has to answer.

racism is not relative!

Absolutely.

But a way you handle it could be worse then racism.

Should we kindly pat him on his butt and forget?

You would like to pat him on his butt wouldn't you:)

No, it is to our society to decide whether it was racist or not.

You think about referendum?
