Life / Polish Shelf Toilets [32]

Apparently something as simple as noticing that your 'average' poop has changed might save your life.

isnt whether its a floatie or not one of the key criteria we should be looking for when observing of poopages?

doesnt it sitting on a shelf make this kinda difficult?

News / The past and future of Poland. Poland is lost. [113]

It seems to me wrong or not that all countries of this size need to produce as much as they can at home cost effectively. Are imports really that cheap? Big picture!

thats an interesting thought. can we take it a step further and ask if we should all start producing individually as much as we can at home?

are you anywhere near self sufficiency out in your yard?

UK, Ireland / Sad or stupid - a Polish teacher killed whilst urinating on live rail [88]

I still dont get how him standing on a platform and pissing on the tracks caused the electricution

In the report I read (page 6 The Metro or whatever its called nowdays) he had been caught short whilst waiting for a train at Vauxhall so went into an alcove to relieve himself. The report said it must have been splashback that carried the electric charge that killed him. I find this hard to believe. He must have p!ssed straight onto the live rail. Not so smart

USA, Canada / Are holidays to Florida popular in Poland? [21]

My Polish friends are visiting places like South East Asia and South America although Cape Verde has been a popular destination over the past year or so.

They took some delight in pointing out to me that it is cheaper to spend two weeks in Sardinia than two weeks in Karwia

book in england and budget airline to england first.

This is an option they are taking. Or from Germany as Wroc suggests

UK, Ireland / Polish parents hang themselves at their Lincoln, UK home [66]

Strange that if someone gives their life in order to achieve something then it is concsidered a brave and valiant act

But if someone takes their life due to pain and turmoil it is considered weak and cowardly

The difference being give and take it seems

Work / Any english teachers in Poland here with tips to share? [55]

lets not beat around the bush. there are just as many sh!t schools in poland as there are dodgy native-speaking teachers. Anyone who has spent anytime working in ELT in Poland will know that. Anyone who denies that has an agenda.

You call your employer is your "keeper". Can I suggest you think about why? If he is your keeper it is because you don't behave in accordance with his wishes. If he is your friend it is because you are friendly, if he is your mentor is because you seek his advice, if he is your admirer it is because you are admirable. If he is your keeper, it is because you need to be kept under control.

what the fuk youre on i have no idea. but if i was you i would pack it in. quick smart in a hurry. its fukin your head up

Real Estate / Article: Poland becomes real estate leader [16]

well thats a very good question and not one im going to answer.

what i wrote s that word on the street is that the decision to pull has already been made. im hearing this repeatedly and im hearing it from poles. its hear-say - word on the street

however

i feel pretty sure that polish politicians will be saying they are more than capable of getting it completed on time, right up until the games open, in another country ;)

Love / About Personal Problems (English / Polish relationships) [32]

I have been thinking for some time about how quallified we are when answering Personal Problems.

if you post your private life on a public forum, well, you get whats coming

the original poster gets all the sympathy

thats all some of them want - attention and sympathy

And why is the usual answer to these personal problems almost always: He's cheating on you, he's married, he already has a girlfriend. Surely there can't be, what seems, such a large number of people who are taken in this way.

yeah? how long have you been in poland Wroc? long to know the score i think

I'd like to know why people cheat

sorry, how long have you been in poland again?

the country is built on self-serving greed and dishonesty. which is why there are so many cheats here

And in fact a relationship might have been ruined because of one of our comments.

yeah yeah whatever. more likely the relationship was doomed because someone felt the need to post on a public forum

Whats acceptable behavior in one country might not be seen as acceptable in another

yup. nail on the head

News Flash! Most of the women posting here are English and are being cheated on by Polish men!

or english men being cheated on by polish women

Polish women are XYZ etc...

yup. dont live in denial mate.

About Personal Problems.

moral of the story?

dont post your perosnal sh!t on a public forum if you cant take what people will tell you
